I'm glad you told the truth! Not let the fact that the owner reached out to you didn't deter you from speaking the truth. This line might have amazing ingredients but the gel flaked and left my hair dry as well and a big frizz ball. I washed my hair 3 times this week giving it chance. I'm over the gel...I may still use the conditioner & moisture creme.
Your twist out looks beautiful. Good for you for knowing your ingredients. Thank you for sharing that with us. I have used TGIN's leave in to get more moisture and days out of the cream or Soultanicals Knot Sauce. One day I will try it with another styling cream under it too. The more of that cream I add the crisper and stronger hold I get.
@@thecure3982 Sorry, I will not be trying the gel anymore. It does not work for me . I've already tried it more than once. I do like the cream, though.
Hi Rae. Love your videos. When you say that your hair does not like propylene glycol exactly how does it react to it? I'm so new to the natural hair journey I still can't tell what my hair likes and dislikes. I know I can't seem to get any style to hold beyond a day and I have a closet full of products that I've tried. Would really like to be able to understand how the products affect my hair so that I don't just keep buying the same ineffective products over and over just wasting money. I'm high porosity and I live in the south. I don't think my hair likes glycerin but I really can't tell because no style that I attempt holds or looks good to me
Hi Renea! Thanks for the comment; unfortunately, I don't know what you mean when you say no style holds. What is your hair doing? I will say that only you can learn your hair and it is by trial and error. I am seven years into being natural and I am still learning things about my hair. It doesn't happen overnight. If a product is not flaking, making your hair brittle, dry, or break off, then it is probably an okay product. Just because our hair changes with the environment, doesn't mean that a product isn't working. For me, if a product leaves a gray cast on my hair, it's not for me. If it flakes, it's not for me. If my hair poofs up because I am in a humid climate, it is not necessarily a bad product, it's just a product that I may need to use in a different season. I would urge you to try a product more than once before you give up on it. Just like our bodies, our hair takes time to adjust to things, so if we keep changing it up, then we don't give it a chance to adjust to the product. Just continue to research and try to be patient. One RUclipsr that lives in the south and is high porosity is KandidKinks. Try looking at her channel and see if it helps you. Another RUclipsr is ALove4Me, but she is low porosity. However, you can still learn about products and how the humidity of the south can affect your outcome. I hope this helps some.
I learned that glycerin soaks more moisture from the air into your hair if you live in high humidity place. It makes my hair very frizzy and dry. I live in Virginia Beach. So I fully understand. My hair doesn’t like gels as I makes my hair very dry and frizzy. The only gel I can use thus far is curl make by Camille Rose but I have to use a cream underneath. When I was relaxed I couldn’t use gels and mousse s either. Try to find ingredients without glycerin or low in the ingredients. I will say it is is challenge but my go to product line is Camille Rose. I am a year and half into my journey. My hair is low porosity

Nothing but the truth over here! I like the cream; I think it's pretty good, but the gel is not for me. Thanks for tuning in.

Thank you so much!
I'm ready for this review! 👀👀🥰
Hope you like it!
Yes I did!🥰
I think it looks great and I don't see any flakes except a few.
This time was a lot better, but it still flaked. Thanks for watching.
Great definition👍🏾
Thank you! 🤗
@@NaturalRaeRae Your welcome
I'm surprised she didn't tell you to use the serum and the gel
The gel didn't work for me. It flaked too bad.
@@NaturalRaeRae can you try untie the knot, reflex, and then the gel for us?
