Hello! I'm writting my comments in this video, because the newest one ( November 2021 ) is desactivated. Very happy to see you back,I've been looking fo yours videos!!!
This is so cool I’ve literally never seen your channel before I just watch one of your videos in there I just realized you’re living in South Carolina and I’m going there in a week or two
omg this is so cool! Can i ask, what kind of yarn you use? Because I don't think I could afford cotton yarn but i heard that acrylic yarn could melt when exposed to heat like this
Hello! I have a bit of a question about 5:56. it says to sc in every st for 3 rows but it looks like you double crochet. Did you use the wrong abbreviation, or do you actually single crochet those three rows? it's kind of tripping me up a little.
I did put the wrong abbreviations! After the increasing to get to 72sts, I double crochet in each stitch for 3 rows more rows. Then, I show how to make the brim of the hat.
I brushed and parted it until It looked like the bangs were in the positions I wanted. Then, I trimmed it until I was happy with how it looked. You can use hairspray to keep them neat.
Please answer this question 😭!! How do you brush the yarn because every time I do it the yarn slowly starts falling and I went from a 6 inch yarn with only a 1 inch piece of yarn 😭
Thank you for watching 😄 You can use any type of paddle brush. Its easier and faster to use a wire brush since it will go deeper into the yarn to brush out. The bristle brush is a bit too soft but will still work. I mainly use the bristle to get the extra fluff out. You can get a wire brush in the pet section for cheap at dollar tree!
The cap will be shorter, so you can style the wig better, and it shouldn't fall off. If it's too tight, a larger hook size (such as 6mm) will be better than what's recommended in the video.
Oh sorry. You make a slipknot like normal. But instead of closing it all the way, crochet into the circle. Or you can make a slipknot, chain 3 and work into the 3rd chain from the hook.
The wig actually stayed on its own while wearing it a whole day at the convention. I made the cap fit perfectly like a hat. But if you feel more comfortable, you can use bobby pins into the cap and holding onto your hair.
Any size 4 worsted weight yarn can be used. I specifically used Michaels loops and threads in the color buttercup, I believe, for the cap. As well as Big Twist Value in the color Gold. Thank you for watching 😊
I could only think of using a size 10 thread like Aunt Lydia's Brand, without brushing it out. If you use normal 4 yarn, and brush it out, it will automatically be short. Unraveling yarn will also make the yarn loose and may fall out.
What hook size did you use?
Oops, I didn't know I didn't mentions that. I used a I/5.5mm hook size
Please make more wig videos!! There isn't enough of this content for us crocheters and I really loved it!! I'd love to see you make a long wig like this!! That would be AWESOME
I haven't been on in a while but have been thinking of going back to making more videos again! I will definitely try to make a long wig tutorial!
PLS THIS WAS SO HELPFUL😭🤚🏼

That is so cool! i can't wait to try this!!
SUPER CUTE WIG OMG
wow wow that was so amazing,
Okay but that’s actually really smart,I usually see people sew yarn into a wig cap and brush it out and flat iron it
Wow! This is amazing this should be introduce in Anime world.
Thank you! I wish it can be shared to the anime lovers! 💚
@@YarnRealm Your wish has been granted! I'm an anime fan :D
Currently working on trying something like this
Hopefully it works for the character!
Awesome! Thanks for this tutorial.
I love this. I plan to make a werewolf wig for my tween daughter for Halloween. Thanks for the ideas.

Thank you so much ^-^
It was fun making these videos for you, I appreciate the motivation to create more 😄
Another good use for the loose fiber is needle felting details on to ami's! This is what I do
Ohh Thank you for that tip! I thought acrylic fibers take longer and is harder to felt than wool. I should test it out sometime.
I see you updated your logo and I can feel theres so much more coming through from you in the near future and im so excited! 🤗 i really love this video, its so creative and cant wait for more of your creativity shining through!
Yes there will be! Thank you so much for watching 😄
OMG TYSM FOR THIS, ITS SO HELPFUL

Thank you! I've been thinking of starting live streaming on youtube soon to about the wigs 😄
Beautiful
Thank you 😄
Great Video.... Thank You ❤❤❤
Would this method work if I wanted the yarn to be shoulder-length?
shii i’m about to make a wig for himiko yumeno
im about to make one for chiaki 😋
That one dislike is from a wig company
😂
That’s so true 😭
This is brilliant
This is so cool I’ve literally never seen your channel before I just watch one of your videos in there I just realized you’re living in South Carolina and I’m going there in a week or two
I LOVE IT I will subscribe 😊
You're very talented! When you're allowed to, I think you should open an Etsy store!
Thank you so much 😊
I actually have an etsy, it has a few patterns up but I'm hoping I'll find more time to make more patterns some day.
omg this is so cool! Can i ask, what kind of yarn you use? Because I don't think I could afford cotton yarn but i heard that acrylic yarn could melt when exposed to heat like this
Oh, I used acrylic yarn. Just put the heat on the lowest setting and pass through the "hair" gently and fairly quickly.
The yarn wouldn't melt!
Could use the left over fuzz to stuff any plushie you may crochet
Yes, you absolutely can!
Wow, young lady this was amazing. Super creative. Like someone else wrote can you please show how you did the ears??? THANKS
I should have one, I just need to find it 😅

I really like this idea, can you or anyone write down the pattern for the hat part? Again, like your idea 🙌🏻❤
How do you keep the wig in place?
Are you going to use the wig for Cosplay am I correct? But who's the character?
I would love to cosplay but don't have the clothes yet.
The character is senko from Senko the helpful fox.
Woww soo nice! Saw u @ discord 🙂🙂
Question can we see how it looks when you wear it
Thanks! Making a ragatha wig from tadc
How did you do the bangs because I wanted to try doing something similar?
I added yarn throughout the entire thing. Then brushed where I wanted the bangs to be, trimmed and shaped the bangs.
What yarn size did you use?
Hello! I have a bit of a question about 5:56. it says to sc in every st for 3 rows but it looks like you double crochet. Did you use the wrong abbreviation, or do you actually single crochet those three rows? it's kind of tripping me up a little.

Is there a written tutorial? I did the increasing parts, but the part where you "raise the wall" of the wig is confusing since it's skipped.
Hi, I hadn't been on here for a while but its only crocheting 1 stitch in each stitch for a number of rows.
@@YarnRealm Alright, thanks
Please answer this question 😭!! How do you brush the yarn because every time I do it the yarn slowly starts falling and I went from a 6 inch yarn with only a 1 inch piece of yarn 😭
Yes. Brushing the yarn will only work to make a short Wig because the fibers are originally short and wound together to make yarn.
This was a good tutorial but i have a questin.
Are there any backups for wire brushes ?? Just wondering
Thank you for watching 😄
You can use any type of paddle brush. Its easier and faster to use a wire brush since it will go deeper into the yarn to brush out.
The bristle brush is a bit too soft but will still work. I mainly use the bristle to get the extra fluff out.

@@YarnRealm okay thank u: :D
Does the wig cap basically use a beanie pattern?
Yes! But its shorter with a smaller brim.
the part you left without hair, what part is it?
The small brim doesn't have hair, so it feels more comfortable to wear.
i keep trying this with loads of differnent hook sizes and the same yarn as you but it keep goig too small
The cap will be shorter, so you can style the wig better, and it shouldn't fall off. If it's too tight, a larger hook size (such as 6mm) will be better than what's recommended in the video.
@@YarnRealm it kept going so small like a hat for a water bottle
Oh no. Are you working with Double crochet stitches?
@@YarnRealm yeah im doing the exact same as you do in the video its just too small 🤣
Hmmmm. I'm trying to think what's going on.
Have you been increasing on the first few rows?
Hiii,i have a quastion, how do you start the thing, like that magic circle at the start, the video cut😭
Oh sorry. You make a slipknot like normal. But instead of closing it all the way, crochet into the circle.
Or you can make a slipknot, chain 3 and work into the 3rd chain from the hook.
Ok but how can i make a long wig i tried so hard to make one but it just keeps on falling apart😧
How do you make the wig stay on?
The wig actually stayed on its own while wearing it a whole day at the convention. I made the cap fit perfectly like a hat.
But if you feel more comfortable, you can use bobby pins into the cap and holding onto your hair.
thank you! @@YarnRealm
You're welcome. If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask 😊
Which yarn do you use for this?
Any size 4 worsted weight yarn can be used.
I specifically used Michaels loops and threads in the color buttercup, I believe, for the cap. As well as Big Twist Value in the color Gold.
Thank you for watching 😊
@@YarnRealm Thank you for replying 😁
Are there any methods that I could use to make a long wig?
I could only think of using a size 10 thread like Aunt Lydia's Brand, without brushing it out.
If you use normal 4 yarn, and brush it out, it will automatically be short. Unraveling yarn will also make the yarn loose and may fall out.
How long did this take lol
Hi, I don't really know how long exactly, but I did finish this within 2 days for just the wig.
Tysm for responding a year later your a real one :)
Where is your soying mashin?
I actually don't have a sewing machine 😅
