I just got my FX3 and I'm watching every cinematic video filmed with fx3-fx30 rn. I didn't buy the camera so that I can film these things, I did it because now when I can't film something like this I can tell myself "its your problem, not your cameras" and its like one of the best motivation ever. I've been watching really well filmed tutorials, weatching things like your video, which i wouldnt even come close before, and telling myself "this is your future, just keep working on". I hate when people say don't buy good equipment first, explore with cheaper stuff and move higher and higher. But when you do that you always have an excuse like "When I get better sutff, these things will improve." I hate that mindset. If you have enough budget you can get whatever you want. And I just love the only barrier with these videos and I are experience and skill, which I can improve over time, and not equipment and stuff (surely some things like lenses, filters, gimbals etc but you get me) Loved your video and you really motivated me. Have a nice day.
@@shimasanjiko4241 the FX3 is a great camera! But you hit the nail on the head, it’s all about lighting, composition, movement, etc, and how all of those support the story you’re trying to tell. I could make an awful looking film with an Arri Alexa if I chose to not worry about proper exposure, depth, etc. best of luck on your filmmaking journey! I hope to see some of your creations in the future.
@@zcounts thanks man! I had like, 2 hours of footage from seeing family for Thanksgiving. It was tough to boil it down to like 30 seconds at the end lol.
This was an absolute treat! The sound design, the storytelling, the angles, pure masterclass! Thanks a lot for this
@@Chizzburger42 thanks so much for the kind words! Although it was challenging, and a fairly personal video, it was a lot of fun to make. Take care.
