Everyone in the U.S needs to watch this to know what people sacrifice at the time and after even more. Daisy is an amazing lady with more balls than the next gen
As a fellow Mexican American. It's incredible to see people, more importantly a women, like miss Romero share their stories. I was denied the opportunity to serve my country because of my bad decisions as a teen. But now as a father of a beautiful baby girl, I will show this to her when she grows old enough to understand it all. To understand that no matter the circumstances life puts you in. You can achieve great things in life. Whether it be by following in miss Romeros footsteps into the military. Or anything else in civilian life she may choose to do. You're an inspiration miss Romero to me and all our raza all around the world. God bless you and thank you for your service 🇺🇸
I follow Daisy Romero on social media because to me she is the picture of resilience. I loved seeing her journey to Warrant Officer a few years ago. I believe we were in the same unit in Okinawa and we share mutual friends. I had to watch the full episode after seeing a short clip. Daisy, you are the type of leader we don't deserve but desperately need. Thank you for your contribution.

@@VanessaG06 I’m not saying literally. I’ve talked to many vets that described their time overseas or firefights being referred to “I’ve fired a a few shots, or been to a few places.” Humbleness.
FET teams are awesome! As a advisor in Combat Advisor in Afghanistan i worked with a few. I was in RC north and trained the AUP and at thet time I entragated Afghan women into training with the men and needed a FET to help. And talk about some great womem. It's all propaganda with the tougher than the rest. Do you think a Marine truck driver is tougher than a Navy SEAL or a Army paratrooper? You want a challenge become a paratrooper. When that door opens up and you hear the scream of the engines and the wind, you will find out what you're made off when you step into blackness.
@@Manbunmen65 ....She is tougher then you are. As a Marine she went through a harder boot camp then the Army Paratrooper or Navy Seal did. Also, as a female she couldn't even sign up for that. When I was in boot camp we had a prior service Army guy that had been Ranger qualified and had jump wings that quit after 3 week at Parris Island. How about you just thank her for her service to this Nation and shut your pie hole about how bad ass you think yourself is.
@@Manbunmen65 ... ok... so. She never said that, and if you can't recognize that all of recruiting no matter what branch is propaganda that's literally the point. Also I would say that this toughness bullshit is a load of crap, I personally wouldn't compare a green paratrooper with a truck driver who has combat experience. (Last U.S Army airborne Combat jump was 2003)
@@Manbunmen65 HAHAHAHAHA I was in the Marines, got out and went in the 82nd. Shut the hell up. It isn't difficult to jump. Airborne School is one of the easiest military schools I've been to. Jumping is only a way to get to work, anyway.
What a great woman. I love how she smiles while remembering her friends and how she still honours them. She said she still talks to them. That’s amazing. No false bravado or bullshit. Just straight forward. Seems like a sweet woman. Maybe a little nervous about being in camera. Great interview.
She is so incredibly brave and amazing for not only her contributions to the Marine Corp and the country as well as her fellow Marines, but how forthright and honest she is about her experiences both overseas and at home, facing her demons like alcohol, TBI loss. The Military needs more women like her.
Thank you for sharing your stories. It's always great to hear the sister in arms come into the spot light. It's a reminder that our sisters are warriors too. I think you are blessed with a guardian angel🙏🏼🕊and now you have many more to continue to watch over you and your fellow Marines. Continue to take care of yourself and caring.
This is why America Loves her Marines. I Grew up listening to WWII, and Korean Vets. When the conversation got down in the chit it was normal to hear the Army guy's say thing like "but it wasn't as fucked-up as the Marines had it. I'm not going to say one branch is better than the other, but Marines thrive on being Marines. It's screwed up how fucked up things can be. I am extremely proud of you. You are a hell of a woman, one hell of a Marine. Daisy I pray you find lasting peace, inner peace. Semper-Fi
HELL YEAH!!! True influencer! No joke, a true professional and great leader to work with! A great loss for the enlisted but an epic win for the officer side 😂
What an example of a fine American warrior; loving her comrades, suffering from her wounds and coming out the other side to become an officer. What a leader.
Way to go Ms Romero. Sorry don't know your rank now. I agree with you about compassion to others and leadership by example. The surviving the fight is the fight in and undo itself. It's nothing to be ashamed. It's you giving the testimony to the future marines. Let alone teaching how others gave to you with their ultimate sacrifice. Now you are giving to the young Marines that you can deplete the enemy by being alive. Your living proof makes the marine corp stronger in the long run. Not to mention few people are triple purple heart earners. let alone someone who stays in the service. What I like about you is, it tells the story to our adversaries. You can blow me up, but I'm still here. You learned about appropriateness after the battle and taught it to others. That means we don't ever give up in our Marines. Thank you for everything you've done I believe it has a direct cause and effect on saving other marines lives down the road.
Thank you for your service much respect for you! Sending prayers and healing to you!! You need to find a energy healer. Someone to help clear your energys. Im sure you suffered soul loss . The soul steps out when your trama is at more then you can handle. Thats why you don't rember everything for couple days. And you are right you made it out because it wasn't your time. We make that contract before we are born.
I've watched about 6 of these videos you've made. They are great. I was in the army but never went to war. I'm not sure if I'd be a coward or a hero.. I haven't been in that situation yet.
I think she was in Sangin when my buddies were there. They left 2/5 to extend and deploy with 3/5. Two of them lost their legs. She’s kinda a badass Sangin was no joke
They extended their deployment? Dudes didn’t know when to quit and now don’t have legs? Brilliant. Sometimes you just gotta step back and take a break.
@@MsRotorwingsthey extended their contracts to deploy in a combat zone. It’s war people have to go and some have to die and get wounded. I’d rather have the guys who extended contracts and want to be there next to me trading lead with the enemy than the guy who doesn’t want to be there at all
been watching LOTS of vet interviews and couldn't find many for women vets. which understandable! but as a woman i really want to know a womans pov of war and going into war. This woman rocks! wow she is very amazing!
Respect to this young lady and Marine. I hope she continues to reach out for help and keep healing.. A lot to recover from. Last point, the Corp has a lot to change and improve regarding man management. one example , when attachments are sent back alone to a parent station. This needs to change. Embed with ur adopted unit for perhaps 3 months. God bless all
Great interview, this is quite the story.Hopefully she writes a book I would love to read it,one tough person. The places she lived I think joining up was the best thing to happen to her besides being born

True warrior, Semper Fi! Please continue mentoring our Marines.
Thank you 🤙🏼🇺🇸👊🏼
Success radiates from you Marine, thank you for everything
I was stationed in Iwakuni with then SSgt Romero. She ran my LCpls Course Seminar Semper Fi!
That's awesome! Thanks for your service Kenneth!
Much Respect Marine! 👊
Thank You for your service and May God Bless You and Keep You Always!
🙏✝️🇺🇸🕊️
Thank you for your service ma’am. The country loves you for it even if some of them forget it.
She’s badass. A true Marine.
LOVED seeing her in the 248 Birthday Message this year
You are very special in every way. This world needs you. Is a better place with you. This testimony every one needs to hear .
What an example of a fine American warrior; loving her comrades, suffering from her wounds and coming out the other side to become an officer. What a leader.
Thank you for your strength in service ❤💜
Prior Marine 88-92 and Navy 00-09 with 15 months as an Individual Augmentee to the Army in Afghanistan. This Devil Dog is spot on.
Daisy, you are an amazing human being.
🙏
Thank you for you service. Your awesome.
She needs to know that's she's not alone. The rest of us need to step up and just listen to her and all the rest.
What an amazing woman
Thank you for your service much respect for you! Sending prayers and healing to you!! You need to find a energy healer. Someone to help clear your energys. Im sure you suffered soul loss . The soul steps out when your trama is at more then you can handle. Thats why you don't rember everything for couple days. And you are right you made it out because it wasn't your time. We make that contract before we are born.
I've watched about 6 of these videos you've made. They are great. I was in the army but never went to war. I'm not sure if I'd be a coward or a hero.. I haven't been in that situation yet.
Thank you for sharing your life experience. Your story has been very powerful.
@@MsRotorwings When people are out there dying that's how it is sometimes, you don't want to sit back when you can get back out there and help.
@@MsRotorwingsthey extended their contracts to deploy in a combat zone. It’s war people have to go and some have to die and get wounded. I’d rather have the guys who extended contracts and want to be there next to me trading lead with the enemy than the guy who doesn’t want to be there at all
This woman has been through hell. She's really tough.
She’s a very strong woman, I agree with you 💯
God bless your heart and keep up the camaraderie. Semper Fi Daisy!
been watching LOTS of vet interviews and couldn't find many for women vets. which understandable! but as a woman i really want to know a womans pov of war and going into war. This woman rocks! wow she is very amazing!
She should get a Medal of Honor just for her own experience of service
Another Great Video 👍 Great content, keep up the great work!
Thank you Daisy for your service to protect us in this great country!
🙏
I have worked jobs Side By Side with women and they have made me proud to have known them! ✌️❤️🙏
Wow, the whole package, a true Marine, a leader. Suck it up, embrace the suck, and drive on! Semper Fi Marine!
I worked Law Enforcement and My Brothers and Sisters I made in this Field Of Employment are still my Family! ❤️
Thank you for your service. I'm from your same stomping grounds of LA, HP and Downey.
Ditto.
Wow. I went to school with her back at camp Johnson. Just wow
What a brave Woman, God bless this American Hero!
Thank you and God bless 🙏🏼
Wow, what an impressive young lady, God has blessed you and thank for sharing your story…
God bless all
Daisy your a legend,God Bless
you🍀
0431!!! She is a true warrior! And she is a living example of what young women should aspire to! Semper fidelis!
Don't let his cowardice make you feel less of a woman.Tu eres una mujer cariñosa fuerte Y CHINGONA!!!!
She is awesome
Absolute boss
Great interview, this is quite the story.Hopefully she writes a book I would love to read it,one tough person. The places she lived I think joining up was the best thing to happen to her besides being born
Every true warrior has an Angel protecting them, for reasons unknown - till it’s time. If you know war, eventually you realize you know faith.
Wow what a woman god bless you, great interview ❤
