Very nice! I noticed that the sound you get out of it is pretty similar to a Baroque flute in this example. Would you say it is just down to technique, or is it the recording that makes them sound similar?
All flutists produce their own individual sound, so any flute I play is going to have a sound that shares my own tonal concept. To me, it just sounds like a simple system Romantic flute sound, not a baroque flute sound. I don't produce a sound the same way that Irish players do, as I mention in my introduction. I also don't produce my in the approach which one could call a "modern flute sound."
