For the "Which Square doesn't belong in the group?" question at 5:15, couldn't you argue that shape C doesn't belong because it's the only one where the smaller circle is black? Is it not a "pattern" that all of them are white except that one? From a designer's perspective, you could also argue it's the only one that's not visually balanced, as the darkness of the black makes the left side appear "heavier" according to design principles. It's these type of nuances that really throw me off in logic tests like these. The world is never black and white, and anyone who sees a grey area is punished.

My initial answer was D but now that you mention this, I can see why people (including me) would fail these assessments based on an opinionated belief and not an actual correct answer as it should be. The question at 11:10 is also slightly challenging because to me, it's the triangles that has a pattern (all squares having triangles at the top except for option C) and it makes sense logically. But after I find out what the answer is, I don't think this is a legitimate logic test, atleast in my opinion.

My logic here is that each letter has 3 white and dark shapes, except for D with 2 white and 4 dark shapes.

Looking at this challenge, I would say that there are 2 patterns that merge to make D the different than the others . First is the circle and “PacMan” shape, in 3 of 4 the colors are opposite. When you look at the triangles are two patterns. 1) opposite corners the same or 2) there are 2 of each color. The only one where these pattern do not merge is on letter D. To choose C, you would have to assume that the “PacMan” shape is not involved in a pattern and I believe this would be faulty logic.

The challenge at 10:42: I would argue that C is correct. All other squares have a black triangle in the upper right-hand corner and C does not. The fact that I should see differences in the placement of the black, almost-circle (to me) is irrelevant--in other words, ALL FOUR have a black-almost-circle on the edge. The only square that is markedly different should be C. In fact, C is also the only square with a triangle not on the top edge. There....now there's two reasons C is correct.

I was actually raging and losing my mind trying to understand why C was not the answer. even if I used the same method that was used to get D, C still stands out to me.
