I have knitted the Poet Sweater Mohair edition and have received many compliments. I plan on knitting many more beginning with patterns from your book “SOFTLY”. I love them all.
Beautiful as usual but your fancy patterns take so much time and effort maybe you could offer some videos on how to fix mistakes in these more complicated patterns. I don’t buy them for fear of wasting my time when a mistake happens.
There are many different skill levels. Maybe instead you should work on patterns at your skill level and challenge yourself to build little at a time to increase your skill level. There are many you tube videos that will teach you how to fix knitting mistakes, whether the mistake is on cables, color work etc. 😊
I once realized I had turned a cable to wrong direction. I saw that when I had already finiished the hem and bound off and the mistake was on the chest area. So I just googled if it would be possible to fix it by unraveling just that cable without ripping off the whole sweater. And it is and I did that I just let the 8 stitches of that part rip off to the error and then I knitted the cable again with sock needles. It came out well. I posted photos of the process on instagram and some were very impressed but I don´t think it was difficult at all. But of course it´s better to take a look at your cables every now and then so you don´t have to do that.
thank you Sari! i will buy the poetry scarf you showed yesterday! i don't mind the full price i need a winter shawl! lol

@heline9469 yes, in a situation like that it is difficult but not impossible. There are many good tutorials online!
