45 years in trucking. Retired in May after 30 years with same company. Took summer break . Now looking to go back on a limited schedule . ShopRite of Millburn is across the street from me. You’ve probably been there and it’s tight
I got my CDL as a teen because I was a volunteer firefighter. I heard you mention that your trucks have automatic transmissions and that made me smile because the 1958 fire truck I drove had a manual transmission. Your adrenaline is already sky high, the siren is screaming, and you're navigating a 15 ton vehicle around panicked drivers while changing gears and being ultra aware of surroundings. I miss it so much.
I came across your channel and it's beginning to be one of my favorite trucking videos. I'm local driver based out of Philadelphia and I do the same type of runs you do!
I am really impressed by your professionalism and dedication to your job and the safety of those around you. I grew up in North Jersey but moved to the Philly area, so I'm familiar with the roads featured in all your videos. It's really cool to see your perspective using them. I also greatly enjoy the positivity you and Danny bring to the videos when you're together. Your channel offers a much-needed break from all the craziness on regular TV.
Thank you for this latest video. It is good to learn about how 'local' or 'day cab' truck driving. Apparently you like your job, like driving, seem to be very professional, choose hours, time of day and days so can spend a lot of time with your child, something difficult for a single mom. I agree with others to back off the junk food. What is the farthest you have gone driving for ShopRite from their PA warehouse ? You mentioned Connecticut, I have seen videos of you going to the Oakland, NJ store. Oakland has one of the oddest layouts for a ShopRite grocery store along with the Rt. 23 Franklin, NJ store, both of which I am familiar with. I live near the Wallington, NJ store. I doubt you would go there as is limited in taking deliveries overnight. I also has the toughest entry/exit set up with little room and tight turns.
I'm an OTR driver now and I love seeing your videos of my home area. Reminds me of when I was a local flatbedder running the New York boroughs and north Jersey. 78 and 287 are some of the most frustrating roads I've driven!
Hi Inji, I was getting caught up on your last few vids. I was about to fast forward this when u mentioned me on all my years. Wow was I shocked. Thanks. Back then I never realized it was going to be a life long career. Anyway for the last 22 yrs I’ve been doing a linehaul run out of PHX, AZ. Luv your content, that dinner looked delish 😊😊
Luv your videos! The food you make, always looks so good. I vote yes to the voice overs in the video answering the comments / questions. Cool idea. Stay driving, stay safe, stay happy. 🚚
I drove trucks/ Local for 45 years and I know what it’s like getting up 1.30am 5 days a week, towards the end of my driving career I was literally burned out sleep deprived, now 2 years into my retirement I miss driving trucks so much but health reasons have kept me from going back. I did keep my commercial license and I do some part time for my Sister who has a truck that requires a cdl. Keep up the great videos young lady you’re doing amazing job as a truck driver. The hammer is standard 😊😊😊
I agree 100% Driving in the Midwest is no comparison to East Coast driving. I mostly drive in the Midwest but when I get like East of Harrisburg PA I can feel the stress more. So respect to you for doing that job everyday! Great video.
Finally inji is back. We have been waiting for your new vlog😅 and we were like hopefully everything is ok with inji. Glad you are back. We love your vlog!
Good 👍 video Inji, I like how you use the different emojis throughout your videos (Makes it fun) It’s great your employer works with you on the times you work 😎Dave H
Hi Inji Nice Video driving your big 18wheeler in the rain all night long👍 I see you head back towards the big big city and I always think that Pulaski Skyway bridge is very cool to look at all that iron and steal it looks so heavy WOW. And I'd much rather eat out for lunch because for some reason being on the road and the road food just seems to go together plus it gives one something to look forward to everyday to enjoy something delicious and something different to be away from home. My two faves are McDonald Big Mac and Chik Filet nuggets😁🍔🍟🥤😋 But I do admire how you can drive all those miles and still can go home to work hard to prepare delicious looking gourmet restaurant style meal and the aroma must be heavnely with all those onions cooking on the stove! And Love the poncho you a smart girl to wanna stay dry and you lookin very cute to wear it😍 Chau My Dear💗💗🌹🌹😘😘
Brisket is probably the best lunch to take, I cook 4.5 kg of beef ( usually rump ) on the the stove with a cup full of water, garlic, salt and whorecester sauce for 3.5 to 4 hrs
It's amazing how the drivers suddenly don't know how to drive as soon as you hit Richmond VA heading North of 95. 95 through DC is a nightmare. 78 in it's entirety is sucky in a different way. 76 blows or is OK depending on which stretch you're on, then once you switch to 70 or 80 in Ohio it's smooth sailing from there. Atlanta and Chicago are the exception to the rest of the country being a cakewalk. 81 is nice.
Inji i realize you drive different trucks but all the glove boxes would be full of Taco Bell saucy's lol, and i like the comment you said we all live in a floating walk way something rather... Thanks for Sharing
Thank you 😊 it was an Egyptian green bean stew with chicken. That would be the literal translation from arabic so we are not too creative when naming our food 😅 and the rice I made also just translates to rice with vermicelli.
Where in The Midwest Was You From Before Moving To Jersey? Long Haul I Always Found Kinda Boring And I Lived In SoCal, ran local in SoCal for all of my life, 46yrs from 74 till I retired in 2020. Did You Bobtail Back In The Rain In A Local Truck, You Are A Brave Girl, Glad You Made It Back To The Warehouse Safe!
Most beverage companies don't require experience, I work for Pepsi and we are on a 4-day work week with the ability to work the extra day to get your 60 hours whenever you want. Currently 32.25$ an hour plus overtime and good benefits too, home every day of course as well.
How far up into CT do you run?I used to deliver milk to Waldbaums,Edward's, BJ,s wholesale ,Shaws ,Costco, some of them no longer around but some locations are now Shop Rite.
Is the pain makes sense to you keep on doing it., having fun time driving., are thing you did in the pass that keep you going., but knowing wen to take it slow and take time off for your self.., is the call you never pick up., cuz you don't know how too.., if life can you stop for someone or something you want to say linking to other people's on the road is cool you find out more about local out here., p.s if you ever in elizabeth or Newark, NJ let me know there more dan Burger King 😂out here.,., they are called🎉 New York Fried Chicken
Hi there. I'm the owner of Trucker Calculator software, we teach truckers to control their money. Would like to post ads in your channel, is it possible?
You know that scene in Zoolander at the gas station where the guys sprayed gas all over each other? Every time I see you and Danny fuel up, I’m like are they gonna spray gas all over each other? Haha I’m weird.

Seems like a smooth job & I enjoyed the cooking segment! What is the name of the dish? Be safe out there 🤍

Hi Inji, how do you deal with sleepiness behind the wheel? Is it a common thing for you as a trucker?
How far up into CT do you run?I used to deliver milk to Waldbaums,Edward's, BJ,s wholesale ,Shaws ,Costco, some of them no longer around but some locations are now Shop Rite.

Done some driving
Why you don't do videos no more
I noticed you leave out of your DC via down to 222.How much difference is from down shantz to 100 to 78?
I'd say it would probably be the same ETA but the sooner I get off of 78 the better 😅
I hate working under the rain! This is the worst thing
Watching Marvel come on you need to trade him in for a real man
Do you get a store discount at Shop Rite?
I do, I get 10% off my groceries. I am a real shoprite driver. Penske is 3rd party sir.
Rookies should do otr first. If not they are setting themselves up for Failure.
