I recently picked up Tomtoc’s UrbanEX B11 for my iPad and I’ve been loving it; it’s my everyday sling even when I don’t have the iPad with me because of how versatile it is. I love that the bag rotates with me, its swivel style buckles are the same as the ones on their Wander T21 bag that I also own. 😁

I have the original tomtoc sling, and the only downside with this new bag is that it still has the same small pockets in the front. They should have copied Bellroy’s new bags and put a vertical separator to have two decent sized pockets. Which would you recommend personally, Evergoods CAS2 or this bag?
So tough. The Evergoods is a better made bag. This is slightly bigger (the 3.5 liter version). I personally like this one but I think for most people the Evergoods would be much more enjoyable

Uh, I so want external pockets of this sling combined with the rest (big and simple main compartment, size adjusting and magnetic strap) of Bellroy Lite Sling. Plus just attachment points instead of key leash like in Tom Bihns.

If you were looking for something in the 2-ish liter size that was primarily a fanny pack, but could be worn as a sling, what would you recommend?

Could see it being a decent niche pick for folks who liked the Wanderer but didn't like the swivel straps (but then you're missing out on the Wanderer's lovely padded strap, the detachable strap, and the grab handle). Fav Tomtoc sling: I'd say the EDC for recommending to folks, but for my needs (11" ipad carry+Switch) it's the Explorer-T21 7L sling bag. Love that one, only recently switched it out for a knockoff Bellroy Venture 9L because of the colours and compression/slim profile.

Depends what you want to spend. There are a few I like better but this is really great value for money
