I have the T33 1.5L, it is a good pocket dump, but I don’t really see the need for upgrade in materials, would have preferred they modified the design so it looked slim if not fully packed out. But tomtoc keeps delivering excellent value
@@JohnScottBtomtoc is way better than alpaka when it comes to slings. I just wished if they say "xpac", that the whole sling would be made of that material, not just the front. I use the larger Wander and I love it. I prefer it over anything Alpaka.
Thanks for pointing out the shoulder carry. Not too many RUclipsrs do. I can not wear a sling on my left shoulder just feels too weird. Have to wear all my slings over my right shoulder. Did you go to a bag maker and have it sown just curious was a big deal to have it moved?
It's more durable and more weather resistant. It's generally more lightweight than cordura nylon. In this case they are also adding cordura on the bottom and back. That material is definitely heavier than the original ripstop nylon they used on the T33.
Yes. That's always the case with the aquaguard YKK zips vs standard, so nothing specific to this bag. It's something I've gotten used it, and it's also why I typically switch out the zipper pulls in all my bags to a finger loop style. Easier for me to grab with one finger and get the zipper up and around corners, etc. On a bag this size, it's not as big of a deal, but I still replace them out of habit :) Here are the ones I use most of the time: amzn.to/3Ej2XZq (you can see them on the T33 3.5L in this video)
@JohnScottB i figured, i dislike those shiny aquaguard zippers as they are harder to open, and also can wear out easier in hot climate weather. Thanks for the response.
I have the t33 1.5 version, I want to get the 3.5 L version to fit my osmo pocket 3,rayban meta and nd filter for my iPhone, I like the lighter version so might get the t33 again
I think that would be challenging since it isn't super tall. I don't have the WH-1000's but none of my over ear headphones would fit in there. You'd need something that could fold down to under 6" in height to work with the 3.5L.
Was holding on getting the T33 because I had a hunch they’d make an xpac version of it. Looks great TBH, that logo on the front is a bit of a downer, but not too bad. Also, is it just me, or does the T33 look a bit rounded compared to the T35? Maybe it’s the stiffness of the xpac.
Yeah it's the same exact design as far as I can tell, but you're correct that the ripstop is software and more malleable. So it takes the shape of its content a slight bit more than x-pac will. Good point.
I think that would be very tight but that it would fit if you didn't put any type of lens hood or converter on the X100. I tried to find other videos that show that combo together and I couldn't find any. Sounds like I should probably buy an X100 to test such things ;)
I am a fan of tomtoc laptops sleeves and pouches but not their bags. Their bags are 2/3 the cost of brands like aer and bellroy but far less quality. The materials, straps and zipper quality doesn't feel premium comapred to other brands

got my T33 3.5L because of your video, already had a go sling, Bravo sling mini V2, venture sling, and day sling 3 max. the T33 is my favorite now.
Nice, glad that video helped you out! T33 and T35 are both great bang for the buck.

Is the logo glued on or riveted? Kinda disappointed that they went that route.
Got the tomtoc t35 aviator 1.5L. Very nice and super durable
Is the tomtoc aviator t35 3.5L better than the 1.5L?

I went to a luggage / shoe repair shop and they charged me $20. Doesn't look like factory stitching but it gets the job done. 👍
@ thanks good to know if it works good for you that’s all that counts
Do you have T33 2.5L? I’d really like to see a size comparison as well as pictures of how it looks when worn.
I don't currently have the 2.5L but I think that's a great idea for a comparison video. I'll try and get one to compare.
Just got my aviator t33 3.5 litre.. Thank for your video🥰
Nice, let me know what you think of it so far!
can't wait to have one!
So what's actually the advantages of x-pac? I thought it's usually lighter but it's not the case here. So only increased water resistance?

Are the aquaguard zippers harder to open one hand compared to the ripstop model?

Don’t like the shiny zipper and xpac fabric for 1.5 L size.
I like fabrics that are smooth, durable and do not make noise
ditto
I agree, I much prefer the matte aquaguard zippers found in some of my other bags (including other tomtoc bags).
@@JohnScottB Yes, prefer the matte than the shiny zipper.
Furthermore I don’t like pu / aquaguard coated zipper

I think the 3.5L is a great size. It swallows up a ton of stuff if you need it to, but doesn't feel overly big when not packed out.
Will it fit over the ear headphones? Like Sony 1000 wh xm4 ?

Like the bag, waiting on 2.5 litre version hopefully
It's available at B&H in the 2.5L size! bhpho.to/3Cw0Y3e

I have the exact green one. It arrived yesterday.
Nice, what do you think so far?
1,5L is enough for x100vi?

I was excited until I saw the zippers and the huge t on the front.

Not fond of X-pac
Check out the T33 ripstop version!
