Nikai is a captive-born gray wolf at the Wolf Conservation Center (WCC), a 501c3 non-profit organization, in South Salem, NY. Along with his brother Silas, Nikai is an 'ambassador wolf' at the WCC that helps teach the public about wolves and their vital role in the environment.

Nikai is so beautiful. For a moment seeing the cover I wondered if they had uploaded something from Alawa from last year, the two looked so alike I would have trouble telling them apart for a couple months. Rest in peace Alawa, I’m glad Nikai has Silas to keep him company after both his siblings passed.
