It’s time for another unscripted foray into Cryptid Corner! This time we look at all things Mothman. Marilee shares her research on the winged cryptid with glowing red eyes. Alissa talks about her long anticipated trip to the Mothman Festival in 2023. Little Witch Charm stitch-along projects are shared. And we can’t believe we didn’t include any Mothman knitting or crochet patterns, so we put some in the show notes!

This was such a good episode!! The book talk was good (added to my TBR). Learned about a moth man festival thag has been added to my bucket list.
The lil witches are cute. I am going to try my best to clear my schedule on either the 18th or 28th to chit chat with y’all!!! I got a new witch pattern that I just need to get my butt to the store and buy the materials for.

As someone who accompanied Yarn Ghoul Alissa to the Mothman Festival, I'd suggest anyone wanting to visit the museum to go anytime other than when the festival is happening. No wait time. No crowds, etc.

I can also recommend the book by John Keel, The Mothman Prophecies, over the movie. Or the investigative articles written by Mary Hyre.
