best of luck! I've always wanted to see one of these in FR layout. belt for 2gr with a/c with ps removed by the way is 7PK1550. Bando is what is on the genuine Toyota belt, so it should be easy to just shop for Bando 7PK1550 directly. this is what's on my mr2 2gr.
Great info, I am in the parts collecting stage of my 2gr-fse swap into an old G-body chevrolet. As for the fwd block probkems I have been interested in the Belted Alternator Starter systems that GM developed and the similar mild hybrid setups from other makers. And for the mounts I bet you could water jet a piece of plate steel that would go between the oil pan and the block to mount off of if you could afford the extra height and maybe something similar at the transmission bell housing to block to control rotational forces. I will be following along this a great build.
The Japanese been using a piggy back system to run the direct and port system at the same time for fuel delivery plus I think for the Lexus ISF HPFP can work on the 2gr fse .. I believe 2gr fse can make big power the tuner just have to know what’s he’s doing for example look at the FRS it as the same D-4S
Hey, I just came across your channel, and I love the idea of a boosted 2gr brz. I was thinking about a 2gr swap, but it seems like everyone usually keeps them N/A. I couldn't find much information out there on boosted applications. While I don't plan to fully build one, I'm still excited to see what yours can do. Do you plan on tracking this car? I also think the format of the video was great!
@@CaleTeale I agree. Definitely easier. Just flagging that there's some cool stuff coming ( and already exists ). Direct injection at its core is a whole can of worms that yeah... I wouldn't wanna deal with either lol
I thought a few lexus guys were using the ECUMASTER EMU PRO, also keeping my eye on RR Racing they are offering tunes for the fse and fks. I do appreciate the simplicity of port injection though.

Thanks for the update, well done on the driveway, and keep it up! I've got a 2GR MR2, and I'm dead keen to see how it goes in a BRZ
Absolutely love this dude 👌🏻
Love it mate! Keep it coming

Enjoyed this, keep the content coming.
Even in New Zealand it's felt hot at the moment... Maybe got to 20 degrees? haha
This is fire, planning to eventually do this to one of the 2022+ gr86s

How much power does the IS250 box handle. My 2GR Turbo kills E153 boxes pretty easily. Looking forward to seeing the progress.
I don’t think it will handle too much - but I’m willing to find out the limit. If/when it goes I’ll put in a TR6060 or similar
Needs more moustache
I second this statement
The link G5 can drive D4S FWIW
I didn’t know that - that’s awesome. I still would rather just stick with normal port injection management. Saves me dealing with all the plumbing
