We love Dr. Stripling. We always pray for him. My husband doesn’t even get into the archaeology stuff but if Dr. Stripling is on, he puts everything down and watches.

Great interview Tim! Scott is the best! And I was so glad to hear that he has collaborated with Aaron Lipkkn. Aaron (whom I haven't met in person) and his father, Avi (whom Ihavemet in person), are great men.

Thank you very much for this important Video. This are impressive proofs for the bible. May it be a blessing to everyone, who sees and hears it, that he or she believes.

Last 8 minutes is revealing in terms of scholarship resistance. Mt. Sinai is in Arabia. Many have visited, providing enough evidence to warrant your reporting from the site. Go and see.

I have a question: what was the FREQUENCY of the sacrifices at the Mt Ebal altar?
I’ve read Zertal’s book, “A Nation Born,” and Milt Machlin’s book, “Joshua’s Altar,” and curiously I don’t think either of them broached this subject. Was the Mount Ebal site reserved for Passover observance on a yearly basis or more frequently?

"It can't be!" has supplanted, "What is the evidence?".

"Bless" occurs 463 times and "curse" 169 times in the KJV.
A father can be just that "a blessing or a curse"
Our Creator and Heavenly Father will bless those who worship Him, with eternal life.
Those who follow the father of lies on earth are cursed to eternal suffering.

21:43 That's a Hebrew 'Heh', not 'KHeh'. Why does he keep pronouncing it wrong? It's just a normal H, not the guttural 'CHeith' or the soft 'KHaf'.

What kind of writing is on the tablet.

Proto-Sinaitic. The case is good that it was the Israelites who invented the first Alphabet that came to light in those inscriptions. The same kind of writing as those found in Sinai (an Egypt) appears to be on the curse tablet.

Douglas Petrovich makes a strong case for this . I believe he is right .

These may be interesting from an archeological point of view, but thats it.
Only Gods word is "a more sure word of prophecy".
What I'm saying is, take it with a grain of salt. Any tablets, writing's, pictographs, or whateve can never add or takeaway from the truth of God's Word.
To truly know God Himself thru Jesus the Son of God is to know that God's Word is the only truth in this fallen world that we can stand on.

Once you wrote a book on something, especially a well received text book, you never can accept that you are wrong. What do scholars do? They write textbooks and make money (shh! don't talk about money).

Last I heard it was said to be nothing but a Lead weight for a fishing net used around Mediterianean in Roman times.

Have you heard the evidence for that position? Spoiler alert, it is weak enough to be ludicrous

      @GTX1123 6 месяцев назад +6

It takes more faith to believe that than it does just to accept it for what it is. There isn't any dispute as to its date which is many centuries prior to Roman times. The question is, what would a lead fishing weight be doing there? This is 71 kilometers from the Sea of Galilee, 91 meters above sea level and 50+ kilometers from the Mediterranean and it was found on Mt. Ebal and it dates to the time of the book of Joshua.

Except none have ever been found there before but only by the coast. Why would a fishing weight be well inland away from water??
