Trailmakers is about building very awesome vehicles and machines, but you don’t need an engineering degree to get started. The intuitive builder will get you going in no time. Everything you build is made from physical building blocks. Each block has unique features like shape, weight and functionality. They can be broken off, refitted and used to build something new. Individually the blocks are fairly simple, but combined the possibilities are endless.
Expedition Mode is the challenging campaign mode of Trailmakers. You are competing in an off-world rally expedition with only a few building blocks to get you started. You must build, tinker with and rebuild your machine to progress. Journey through a big world, overcome deep gorges, angry wildlife and dangerous weather to progress and find new parts that will juice up your machine. The world in Expedition Mode will test your survival skills and ingenuity.
Sandbox Mode is where you want to head for an unrestricted, sandbox, vehicle-building experience. Here you can build anything you can dream of, and play around with it in the world of Trailmakers. It is a great place to test out crazy machines, and experiment with the physics engine. With tons of different blocks, hinges, thrusters and interactive vehicle parts - the skybox is the limit.
Trailmakers is even more fun if you play it with other people. Build cool vehicles and compete in mini-game modes with your friends or other Trailmakers online. Build a helicopter, send it to your friend, and shoot them out of the sky. Put two seats on a tank, and let your friend control the turret. As we get further in Early Access development Expedition Mode will also be adapted to multiplayer.

You guys are still missing out the most powerfull melee weapon:wheels. If you put them in the front bumper and set them to rotate very fast the Moment anyone comes in contact Will be Launcher + they are pretty durable
Hinges are indestructable at both connection points.
I built a drill that has no problem just driving through other creations without getting dammaged

what about an orbit battle? You all get in stable orbits (easy since Scrap already figured it out), then try to change each other's momentum enough that they either crash to the core or fly into space

Since repairing doesn’t cancel momentum anymore, as long as the seat’s intact and they have the repair token they could repair, then it’s just down to whoever leaves the gravity field or hits the planetoid first

Nah, i'm sure they'll all find loads of uses for the other places... heck, maybe even Nassau. :)
The pirate canon should be cool on the asteroid, since their projectile is slow and does not shoot as far, you could probably do some cool ballistic tricks with it. Or the land torpedos Yuzei and you did a while ago, so you have to be extra carefull to not get hit by your own torpedos.
And they'll have to recalibrate the Thrust so the Torpedoes don't fly off the Planet... and Skis might be an idea as well!
An artilery battle with the dispensers maybe? The metal box packs quite the punch.

IDEA to do on the sphere asteroid: Make a lot of mini "satellites" that are tidal locked to the asteroid and have sensors connected to thrusters in a circular system so that each satellite does not crash into each other. Using hoverpads makes it easier.
In short, Dyson Sphere.

wow that would be very complicated to do but the result would be amazing, Scrapman could try to make like mini self orbiting machines so it would be easer to do

The avoidance mechanism would be the hardest to make, since they would have to not over accelerate since then they would be launched into a higher or lower orbit. Not impossible to make using speed sensors, but a challenge.
I love demolition derby’s and asteroid! THIS IS PERFECT
Scrapman please test block durability when you overlap seams or don't. In otherwords will the build be stronger if you build it like Legos by offsetting pieces instead of only using the side contacts. Also I'd love to see larger pieces vs smaller pieces.
I absolutely think you guys should do a point system where taking people out will give points. Otherwise the obvious winning game is ALWAYS to hide until it's 1v1.
The problem with trying to hide is that when ya haven't seen a opponent for awhile it becomes apparent what they're doing, then it's REAL tempting to aggro them WAY harder. ;)

How about an artillery duel with each player/team on the other side of the asteroid?
That's actually a pretty good one. It could work as a blind battle where they just take shots until they finally start landing hits or they could even use the RC glitch to add remote camera drones to their builds to help guide their shots
Monster truck wheels are the best for this conditions, mostly because ot their weight, it will allow to stay attached to the surface a bit easier.
Scrapman should try to shoot a projectile around the asteroid and have it hit him again
Love watching these videos. I feel like a fun name for the demolition derby in Trailmakers could be Wheels, Engines, Seats.
I loved that moment when Yuzei said "It's Orbit Time!" and orbited all over the place.

Day 7 of:
I've got 3 ideas for you,
1: Player 1 builds a plane with wheels on the tips of the wings. Player 2 makes a runway with two lanes and a gap in between. Then land the plane on that runway.
2: Build a plane which can transform into a submarine upon contact with the water (like, wings turn in and stuff).
3: Test yours and your friends building skills by turning animals into a vehicles (maybe multiple animals per person but that might be too time consuming). Points for form and points for function
IDEA: Use operator seats with 1 gun and have a 12 block limit, then, make a mechanism that can launch your vehicle into orbit around the asteroid. Good luck, and most of all, have fun!
Would be fun watching one of those olympic games contests on this asteroid
You should do a "science" episode on the collision physics to get better at demo derbies

Idea: Evolution Tron. You start with 5 power cores and one quantum rudder. However, they rotate vehicles
Round 1: kAN - Slab Vehicle, ScrapMan - Wedge Vehicle, and Kosmo - Brick Vehicle.
Round 2: kAN - Brick Vehicle, ScrapMan - Slab Vehicle, and Kosmo - Wedge Vehicle. etc
No weapons (besides empe and laser weapons), so technically demo derby. You can use shields for round 3 but once they get deactivated with EMPE, you have to take it off, otherwise keep it.
Total of 5 rounds, but 5th round, you can use all weapons except for dynamite and concrete walls. You can add to it if you want. :)
I think the wheel protection you put on there was the most deadly weapon out there
It's a lot easier to have a Demolition Derby when none of your foes is packin a Goblin Drill. :P
Totally dig the Rover/Monster Truck hybrid! :D
Now imagine if ya gave up the 'Bopper Bumper' for Pistons on the bottom to try to re-upright yourself with... ;)

I feel like the thing I'm learning from these derbies is that Wheels in general are both the toughest and most damaging component when it comes to other players. If you could weaponize them as bumpers/wood-chippers in the front, I feel like you'd be solid. Maybe even use them as armor

I honestly don’t know if this is possible but I think it would be awesome to see weapon propulsion, you don’t have any type of engines/thrusters only weapons to move forward
You should have used anchor blocks on the wheels so enemies stick to you
You could try making a contraption that shoots projectiles at exactly 107 km/h so they orbit around the asteroid. That could even be two videos: a building video and a multiplayer battle using the contraption.
Stationary turret emplacements, with those no-autoaim cannons, they *should* have a slow enough projectile speed to cause them to slightly orbit before hitting the ground.
Then place your turrets evenly spaced out around the asteroid and see who dies last :D
It would be interesting to see an evolution challenge with this mechanic of the asteroid.
And even you could do a dog fight or evolution with spaceships betwen the asteroids

Little tip: if you want a piston to go faster, then give it a red input and put the speed to -100.
I love the fact that at certain points you can see the lines that were used to make the pieces of the Asteroid
Small hinges are in fact super OP, when it comes to impact damage. Shieldplates are really bad, when it comes to impact, but are VERY good against explosions and projectiles.

How about a rule that you can only use camera blocks to see? It would be an interesting modifier to even basic battles
Maybe you look on to idea of orbital projectiles, like, catapult battle, or mortar battle, where you can feel the difference to usual ballistics of in-game projectiles
Something to note in almost every case a small, compact , and armored vehicle will have a better chance at winning a derby. love your vids Scrap!
Idea - same battle but with emp only. Then add 4 space thrusters under your vehicle. - emp triggers the thrusters and pushes you off the asteroid. Should be funny.
Maybe a snowball launcher battle on the asteroid could be fun
Asteroid battle idea: Remember that High Seas submarine battle where you get to shoot only while airborne? You could do the same concept but with this asteroid; you drive, jump, and shoot while off the ground. 🛰☄
IDEA! Orbital Grav Combat! You settle on certain parts of the Meteor, adjust your weapons and fire at one another using artilary weapons! Then hope gravity helps you out!

A good melee weapon is some party balloons, i reccomend having them on pistons.

You know what is good for melee weight! Weight blocks can make a difference.
If you use something with slow moving, gravity affected projectiles it would be fun. You would have to think about how the gravity changes the trajectory.
Battlebots in space! Build a jack of all trades bot and hold each round on a different planet/station/asteroid. The changes in gravity and possibly atmo could make things interesting.
using the anchor blocks, make a long snake vehicle that can wrap around the asteroid and stick to its tail end.

i think it would be very interesting to have a mine battle, where you all drop mines and try to avoid them in a limited space with limited vision
some kind of artillery battle would be cool, tryin to shoot and have the round go way across sorta like a tank battle with no guided weapons
If you find a mod that adds unlimited time to projectiles, you could probably orbit ship cannons (as an extra danger to orbiting// going too fast)

using bomb bay only trying to stay in orbit at a certain distance, you could maybe use your circle you created for the asteroid as a boundary
Between the ram weapon and the results of the second round, ScrapMan's build should be called the YeetMobile.
Orbit with range sensor pointing down for thruster, then just orbit around and colide
cannonball fight, or something similar, with the right amount of launch force it should be able to just stay above the ground for a good part of the asteroid
for the asteroid, one person makes a vehicle with a way to catch your spacecraft and you either try to have them catch you to land, or attach to you to fly away
Escape velocity race. You have to make a ground vehicle that is able to leap out of Orbit with most of it still intact. Winner is either who leaves the rock the fastest, or gets the farthest from the planetoid.

You could try to battle with the bombs. You’ve previously build a mechanism to throw them, if you decrease the speed to the right amount they should orbit, right? Ideally maybe slightly slower than to get them in orbit.
Could also be split into two videos, one singleplayer for creating the mechanism and one multiplayer battle

Heyyyy.. Uhh, I think one of your viewers might want you to do a battle with flying Tanks... Im not sure though.
I suggest you do it as a sequel to the mars series in search of where the Martians who built bases on mars.
You can do more research on its somewhat earth like conditions.The reason for it being on Titan is because titan has a subsurface water ocean,a active methane cycle and a large collection of lakes,seas and rivers of hydrocarbons such as methane. Day six of saying this.

I think wheels are the best melee weapon as it is more durable than normal blacks and it also spins

If you ever repeat something similar - build a small car inside the big car. When the big car gets destroyed, just detach the small car and continue fighting
If the asteroid was bigger (Something I am sure could be done with mods) it would be super interesting to see tron on it.
