I just love how you both parent so naturally with your beautiful children! This adventure may be costly, but this will also be so foundational in who the kids will be as teens, adults and through out their lives. The smile on Jackson face when he did the radio call for the water taxi....priceless! Merry Christmas and a wonderful Happy New Year to you all!
We are so proud of you guys! To think how far you have (gone) in only a short couple of years. We remember when you took delivery out of Harbour Towne Marina and you were struggling to get the sails down. Congratulations on a job well done! Merry Christmas and safe travels!
Happy to see more Galapagos torties, They're good fellas. Also liked the crabbies climbing the rocks, and the pirates' den. Didn't think much of that taxi you were required to use. They did have a good post office (if a little slow), and the Machete crew on an important mission now to get those letters delivered safely.
What a wonderful episode thank you so much for sharing this beautiful adventure. Little John had me laughing when he said I’ll throw up 10 times. Please stay safe and have a very merry Christmas and we’ll see you next time.
Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment! We never looked into the specifics on diving, but most things had to be booked through a tour. They are pretty funny about where you can bring your dinghy/big boat and even paddle boards. But like I said, we never looked into specifically scuba diving with them.
if the parents can make the kids ditch their digital devices for gaming and embracing discovery channel and national geographic i think it’s tons of times of more worth for the expenses, which you already did or on the way there , also if you have watched an episode of sailing zatara years ago you will know what to avoid on cruising to Galapagos (fees are too expensive there and can get pretty much the same thing at great reef, OZ)
@sailingmachete I have crossed the Pacific 5 times, stopping in Galapagos twice. More time in the Marquesas and Tuamotu is better for me. And I always seem to be short of time getting across before November and Cyclones

Cutest family ever.. BTW is it possible to scuba dive from a private vessel + a local guide, or do you have to be on a group trip

Galapagos is entirely and utterly different to the Great Barrier Reef.
How many kids have dolphins is there classroom
Right?! Very blessed for sure!!

“To God be the GLORY!” You guys just lost me.
I avoid Galapagos wherever possible. The trip to the Marquesas is easier & faster without stopping in Galapagos and there is little worth seeing.
Totally understand that view point!!
