      Thanks ,I'm Canadian Jordanian . Your video is professional and realistic, as you mentioned the pedestrian lanes,I laughed 😅, and you reminded me of going between cars long time ago

    Thanks for this nice video. It brings back sweet memories as I studied Arabic in Jordan from 1989 to 1991. Amman is a great city, at that time nearly totally tourist free. Hussain mosque you showed at around 22:25 was my favourite mosque for friday prayer.
    Petra is incredible, have visited it may be five times. Haha, but I never made it to Ad-Deïr as I always was too tired after an exhausting wall in the heat.
    I miss 'Amman a lot. Last time I visited already long time ago in 2017. So many things to remember, such a beautful country, such friendly people.
    Wadi Ram was in 1990 totally unspoiled of tourism. It is a little bit sad now to see all this camps mushrooming there.
    Are you from Sheffield? My nephew and I have travelled to Snooker World Championchip often. Don't let it be taken away from you!

    Be careful of those white van man 😉

      Thanks Tom for the kind words! I mostly used my GoPro 10, although some bits are also on my iPhone 13. Petra and Wadi Rum are unreal - try and do Petra as early as possible to beat the crowds (and heat!). I picked the wrong guy to walk in front of didn’t I? 😂

      Hi Sandra. I think it was called ‘Wadi Rum Luxury Night Camp’, it was nice and comfortable - maybe not luxurious (although a/c in the desert is a luxury) but a unique nights stay!

    Hello, great video and I have a few questions, do you think it would be safe for a male solo travel in Jordan? I would be renting a car from the airport to travel in Jordan, how hard is to flight out of Jordan to Egypt? Thanks for any info

    • @jetawayjoe
      @jetawayjoe  Месяц назад +1

      @@erickc623 I travelled Jordan solo although did a tour, my time in Amman was spent solo and I felt safe, although I really would not drive anywhere in Amman on my own. Outside Amman I think driving would be ok. Flights from Jordan to Egypt, there are several daily flights between Amman and Cairo operated by EgyptAir and Royal Jordanian. Happy travels.

      Hello! I actually booked a small group tour through Intrepid! The tour was incredibly well organised, accommodation of a good standard and had a knowledgable local guide - really good value for money if you’re short on time or don’t want to organise everything yourself

    Men in short trousers are completely inaporopriate in Jordan. Even small children don‘t wear it.
