My Tuttenhaur autoclave came with a cleaner that essentially pure citric acid. I thought that was odd. My midmark came with a pH neutral cleaner which seems to make more sense don't you think?
Does this also apply to autoclaves with separate water tanks for clean and used water? Because the concept of draining water often from closed circuit autoclaves is familiar to me.
Great question. I don't think so for this reason. It may be a good idea to clean out these tanks during preventive maintenance to clear lint and dust, etc.

I suggest following manufacture instructions
