My father married psychopath #2 who was a kindergarten teacher. Very childish, explosive, violent person. Even as a kid, I’m looking at this situation and thinking, hey if SHE wants pills, FINE. She needs them, but I do NOT NEED PILLS. There’s something wrong with HER! Not me. THAT proved to be a huge problem too, apparently. This cognitive dissonance thing is a HUGE PROBLEM! I mean recently, massive problem. I think I’m starting to see people come to their senses somewhat. But for a few years I was really worried, especially for the kids! Everything is backwards, up is down, left is right, 2+2= whatever you want it to equal. And there’s no consequences! People go out to get offended. Or they go out shoplifting like it’s nothing, and everybody’s so sedated, they just nod and vote! And now everything is catching up with everybody for being led by ‘feelings’ or whatever. Businesses closing, prices skyrocketing everywhere. All because it was so easy to just follow the crowd instead of standing up and saying FUCK OFF WITH THIS INSANITY! I’m not going to say it made my life easier walking away from my family as a young teen, being left pretty much defenseless and alone. But the weird thing is, you know who else is alone? The family members that shut me out and danced to that crackpot’s drum! Yes they might be wealthier, we’re bought homes, paths were cleared for them. But they too, still wind up with no family. I think people who pull this shit belong in an asylum. Where they try to put anybody else that won’t play their game. People find out the hard way. Absolutely, yesterday was Father's Day and at most my partner and our oldest told me happy Father's day one through text and the other well I think she had to see that it was that day then she came up to me later that morning, I for mother's day , had the daughters over , made lunch and dinner , with homemade watermelon aqua frescas I put so much thought and love into celebrating my partners mother's day and we'll she literally did nothing for my father's day , my own mother didn't call or text my step bro nothing , my cousin that I consider my sister nothing as well , I don't need gifts or want them just the thought and some display of affection. I don't have money so I show love through cooking and art and I was disappointed yesterday but I kept saying I'm not shocked don't lie and pretend you didn't see this coming , it's just sad and still stings when it does . Guess I'm paying off some karma , my lil three year old soon to be four is what keeps me in this dynamic she's my ♋ silver moon purple princess my reason I stay grounded. She is thanks enough, she is so genuine and honest even for four , a wise soul she has , and I am always grateful for her ♾️
Good podcast. I find no one wants to make the effort and if you make effort to communicate or connect they think you are super strange and almost an element of disregard. People want the attention of those who are dismissive, it seems. I have stopped making effort as much now. Seems futile. ;)

I've noticed lots of cognitive dissonance in politics! I'm certainly glad that I'm gen X and a stay at homer where I don't have to deal with all the new age bs. I see a lot of it on line, though. In a couple of my FB groups, I've seen some women ask for tips on how not to lose their side guy. Those ppl will never know the amazing feeling of commitment and the feeling of pride after yrs of it. If and when something happens to my husband, that's it for me. No one could ever replace him. I have a friend who just split with her husband and very much wants to date. I couldn't imagine being thrown back into that in this day and age. There's so many people you need to watch out for and most come off as really nice people that are covert narcs or worse. She's a super sweet Iranian woman that's living in Vegas. Not the place I'd want to meet a man. She's not used to our culture or our men. I wish she'd come down here where I could help her find a charming southern guy who's mom brought him up right to respect women. Southern men are so different from northern men. On a separate note, G, I used just your oracle cards for a reading a few days ago for another friend. It was the first time I've used just the oracle and I connected with them so well. I know you're done with all that and moving on, but I just wanted you to know hoe much I enjoy them and the artwork. I typically don't use oracle decks, but I really like these.
