After our first night at Summit Green Lake Tea Resort, we spend a quite morning at the property. We then head out for the afternoon safari at the picturesque Bagori range. We finish lunch at the Fagun Assamese restaurant and start safari from 1:30 in the afternoon till sunset. Kaziranga is a wildlife hotspot. We got to see the prized one-horn rhino, endangered water buffalo, ash elephant of Assam, greater adjutant stork, wooly neck stork, eagle, hog deer, sambar deer, monitor lizard, Indian giant squirrel, and many other migratory birds.

Marvellous sightings! Agreed, Kaziranga does provide the highest plethora of wildlife encounters. Most other national parks in MP and North India have spotted deer, langur and bandar, with a rare possibility of tiger sighting.
