This video shows you how I used Paul Rodriguez' nosegrind as a basis to help me learn how to nosegrind. Paul Rodriguez is one of the best ledge skateboarders of all time. That's why I studied his nose grind technique and created baby steps for me to learn his technique and copy it for myself. Hope this helps you learn nosegrinds as well as it helped me!

Your analysis of what skaters do with their arms is something that I never would've thought of, and it's helped me with a lot of tricks. Thanks so much bro! 🙏

I feel like it’s more in the shoulders more so than arms

Bro, shoulder rotation is so key with this trick. You get the shoulders to do what you want and get in the ledge the rest of the body will follow. Look over your back shoulder and spot your landing, then give the board a slight nudge off the nose and you'll land and roll away.

When you talk about the momentum with the shoulder and referencing a previous video, are you referencing the video “the SECRET to jamie foy’s fronstside noseslide”..? Personally I’ve never been a natural noseslider. For some people it’s a free trick.

Bros got a phd in yappology. This one simple trick localjoe doesn't want you to know will keep you from overthinking like a goober. Want to front nose reg? Look under your arm past your nose at the ledge and ground infront of you. Fakie you can look straight down. Thats it. Same as frontboard. Same as rocknroll vs front rock. Look where you want to go, the body will follow without the quantum physics equations mid trick.

A big thing for me among everything else you said is bend the knees on the approach. it helps stabilize you once you’re on the ledge so you’re not up there completely stiff legged which makes me slip out
