Tracks continue all the way down to Malmö and over to Denmark. But for this train last station is in Södertälje hamn, from there train changes direction and go for last station down to Södertälje centrum. It's a short 4 min trip. From Södertälje trains go back to Uppsala or Märsta. We down have any turnarounds like circle, if that's what you ment. :)
@@stockholmsubways4801 Thanks for the reply! In the video it looks like the tunnel continues after Stockholm City, which is why I was wondering if Stockholm City is the last station and the continuing tracks lead to a circle turnaround or if the line continues to other stations. So after Odenplan and Stockholm City this line continues to Södertälje centrum and then Södertälje hamn which is the last station? Are the Södertälje stations also underground?
@@Minidude110 After Stockholm City the commuter trains stop at Stockholms Södra (Inner City South) wich is also an underground station. The rest of this line is on ground level, if I remember correctly.
@@Minidude110 The line continues underground until just after Stockholm South station. From there it heads into the southern suburbs and down to Södertälje, which is about 30 kilometers south of the city. Apart from a few short tunnels, it's all above ground. The line also splits south of the city, with one branch going to Södertälje and another one to Nynäshamn which is at the seaside to the southeast. Very few commuter trains actually terminate at Stockholm City, the author just decided to stop filming there, I guess.
I forgot to cut out intro. Departure time is 01:40 into video
Min favvorit sträcka mellan Uppsala och Stockholm. Speciellt den vägen via Arlanda.😎
Do the tracks continue after Stockholm City? Is there a turnaround?
