As a US Army Soldier in 1966, I was trained as a crew chief on Bird Dogs and saw them used in Viet Nam in 67 and 68. You creation is pretty much how they looked except for the fact that they were ugly o d green. Seeing this litle model brought many memories back about being around the L19 and doing minor work authorized by my training at Fort Rucker Ala.
With the evermore outragious prices for plastic kits, I'm looking at your approach to satisfy my desire to just BUILD something. Both limited budget and workspace make this ideal: it's a challenge to my long dormant skills (ie- I fully expect to screw up my first efforts), but the ready availablity of materials within my budget (Dollar Tree and other arts and crafts stores), I think I'll give this a try. I should probably budget in bandaides as well.
Thanks so much . This is beautiful work. I love the craft with craft sticks . Made many items with craft sticks myself. Thanks for keeping the craft alive . May you have a very blessed day. Later
You, my friend, are a true artist. Here's a hearty thumbs up to you.

you made it perfectly, happy new year sir, I wish you more success, and I hope one day I can get lots of subscribers and viewers like you, keep inspiring sir
Many thanks for the fascinating video. Model making does not need to be expensive. But I am sure there is a lot of experience involved to build such a detailed plan just from scratch. What is the type of the clear glue you are using?
I could sit and watch you do this all day long! Beautiful! Very artistic!
same here
Hat off to the detailed miniature work against quite a resistant wood!!!!!
Skill, time, material, and patience. Outstanding.
Did this 40 years ago. Made a Cessna 180. My dad still has it on his dresser.
