Notification SQUAD where you at?
Yep right here
Right here mate!
Here!!!!!!
Here
Yeahhhh
I don't know why I'm watching this in 2021 but damn how far gimbals has come in just 4 years
I bought a cannon 80D thinking that the more expensive the camera, the better it would be for livestreaming. (I'm a gaming channel). When I received it and realized I legitimately had NO CLUE, I thought I had just blown 2200$ (accessories). Then I figured..... what if I could be more than a gaming channel.... and I found a few tutorial guys like you and I've been on a serious mission now. So first off, fuck you for further intriguing my new and expensive curiosity.... but really, THANK YOU. There are very few channels I watch religiously, but yours is one of them.
I still don't always understand what you're doing, but I'm learning and I love your style of presenting.
You've played a very large (even if indirect) part of pulling me out of a dark hole. Thank you Peter. I love you.
LackLuster Gaming Hey mate, what made you pick the 80D? There's G7 and G85.
Neil Mutia im not too sure. I knew how much I could afford, and I knew I wanted a quality camera. My good friend (seanmurphyphoto.com) is a pro and just being in his presence took me down the cannon road.
LackLuster Gaming Thanks, bud.
Neil Mutia Because canon.
Name buy a gun instead
Its refreshing to see someone that is respected in the community take an actual practical stand on gear.
Im getting sick of the "you can do absolutely anything with really cheap gear. Gear doesn't matter at all"
And the
" well you can't make something good unless you own the _______"
Bravo sir! Bravo!
Dude - best intro EVER!! I need to keep coffee handy ;-)
*My filmography goal*
To get everything. All of it.
The whole equipment is love💖
Mr. IY Just Make The films and get the gear eventually, don't dream to much because it will stop you.
Mr. IY gear isn't quality... The dream of all of it stops you from making stuff. Just make videos! :)
Don't focus on the equipment
That's your consumer mindset speaking
Focus on perfecting your trait!
Adnan Sakib Bhai check my videos out..they are all made(shot and edited) using smartphone. So you know, the polish or finishing touch the equipment gives to your content..that shows
Your videos have been giving me so much hope in beginning my career in landscape photography. Thank you so much!
Enjoyed watching this, and learning about some new things!
I'd love to see how you organise your files!
I'm sure many people would get ideas for how to organise their own things too!
Thumbs up so Peter can see how much we appreciate him & his work!
Another ABSOLUTE banger bro! It's honestly crazy how much you've grown! Congrats on all your success Peter! I'm a 19 year old film maker from Ottawa, Ontario. I'm visiting Toronto in March, and would be insane to meet up and maybe get some shots together. You're honestly my biggest inspiration in the film game, and would make my visit that much more incredible! I hope to hear back soon, and maybe make something happen! Keep up the greta work man! Much love and respect.
Haha, would be dope!
collab!!
Dude, let's collab on something when you're in town!
RobertsonFilms I'm from Ottawa too!!
Canadians in the house. More collaborations are needed. I'm up for it, who's in?
Pete, loving these videos man! Been following you since you started with Ellusionist, so cool to see this! One of the best channels on RUclips hands down!
I could feel the intensity on this side of the screen when you started up that Mavic. I even said the same after i landed it first time indoors. Great Video!
Peter, thank you so much for making such informative videos. As a new videographer, you are quickly becoming on of my favorite RUclipsrs! Sooo much value around here. Cheers brothaaa
much love from BRAZIL!
I enjoy this kind of videos so much. It's so interesting to see what other people use for their work. I also think it's a good way to realise what kind of gear you might need in the future
Love your videos man! Keep up the great work! You've done an incredible job of educating and inspiring young and new filmmakers!
Hey Peter on the problem with the iphone 7+! Get the app filmic pro, there you can turn of the stabilization of the iphone and much more settings like exposure etc.! it also has dji mobile support, the downside is it cost 10 bucks haha. i hope you understand that :p
Tan Nguyen i second this, instant fix
Tan Nguyen yep that app is great use it on most of my video 👍
downloading now...thanks!
thanks guys! I appreciate it! no problem @Rawfires! :)
Should I turn off the IBIS when filming with a steadycam/flycam as well?
I've only got 30 seconds into this. I was drinking my coffee when you lifted your coffee outta the bag. Now it's up my nose... Once I get cleaned up I'll return to watch the rest of the video.
Ya caught me good with that dude!
+Mark Duffy haha the best
Just finished the video, savage as always dude. Very inspiring. If you get a chance could you check out my latest video, it's my first parallax video. I'd love to hear your thoughts, I got into photography last January 2016 and the parallax is of my best shots in that year
Thanks for the advice, Peter! You really help step up my filmmaking!
Thanks for the inspiration as always Pete! That drone flight made me so nervous....!
How the hell do you fit a ronin in your bag
DER Mobber whose most people? Everyone I know has a carrying case or they keep it draped across their passenger seat. Are you talking about taking it apart of leaving it together?
I think the word bag is another word for closet for him
King Flip I think maybe your taking the title a bit literally
How did you make your intro? Please make a video!!!!
PETER bro you have inspired me to get into photography I've been going out and learning more and more about my camera looking forward to getting a better lens im so happy ty :)
I always like your videos within the first few seconds of watching them because I know they're gonna be great 👍🏽 love your work Peter 💕
Just waiting for this to come! :) Thank's Pete!
Pozdrowienia z PL :)
Dude u have a total gear aprox of 17770$ and i can't afford to buy my first camera which is 400$.Well done
plus the computer and software and what not...its expensive to work like the pros!
indeed it is , but its so cool when u realise what u have and others don't :))
haha must be, I wouldnt know
same, like i said i cant afford yet my first camera :))
You'll get there. You've gotta remember we don't go buy all this stuff at once. It's something here and there, a used lens sometimes, or you wait for the rebates. I usually won't buy something until a specific job dictates a need, or if an upgrade is required because absolutely what I've got already isn't cutting it. I built my kit over 7-8 years and it's still evolving. A client has never complained because I had the cheaper lens; they just don't know. But when the time comes, I upgrade a little here and there and sell off the used stuff.
Love the indoor drone flying!!!
What I like the most is that you know exactly what the viewers can feel once we watched this video. Stay Humble Peter and thanks for cheering us!
#goals 😭😭
Where is "Stupid places to mount my gopro" thing?
One of the best "What's in my bag" I've seen. I don't do video so some of the stuff went way over my head. But it was great to see some of your kit so battered as it shows all your kit is used and not just bought for the sake of. Great intro...totally seamless.
You're the best at what you do man! Among the thousands of other requests, a video on how you organize all your photos, videos, work etc would be mint! Cheers
If you want to remove the jitter from the iPhone 7 plus and the OSMO mobile, download the filmic pro app on your phone and you can turn of the stabilization on the iPhone. That should solve your problem.
Who else was subscribed at 30k???
HERE!
Declan Hartley-Brown bro, I've been subbed since he was less than 10K. I like he was at like 5-6K
Quinn Hughes I was here at 5k 🙋🏻♂️
dude I been following him since high school when he didn't have an youtube account
about 2.5k
7:22 literally me two months ago in my bedroom. papers went everywhere
Bloody love your videos man, I look forward to them. Really interesting, thanks for the Intel :)
Who else was cringing with the Mavic flying in the office. "never again!" lol
I was! lol
What's the actual bag you use to carry all this stuff?
TermsAndCons 🤣 he carries a big suitcase...I wonder how he go to vacations.
Oh my lord really?
TermsAndCons Just kidding mate...
Forgive me, the lack of tone due to the nature of your comment led me to believe you were serious. You may have known him better than I do.
TermsAndCons that's why I used an emoji🤣😂
Always looking forward to your videos!! Keep em coming, Great content always!!
Goals galore! Just got my mavic and absolutely loving it!
McKinnon > Neistat
tfw you're poor and don't even have a good camera
dude, your equipment doesn't matter. I use my sisters iPod, a school issued laptop, and free software that we used to make the 8th grade student news. "I'm poor" is the laziest excuse that you could use.
Well what camera do you have?
Totally our favorite new channel! Keep it up dude!
just started watching your videos cant stop and its 3:55am in the morning KEEP IT UP !!!
I love the color and texture of your desk
Hey Peter, I recently came across your channel and I have literally watched most of the stuff you have posted just in a few days. I must say your content is bounti and beautiful. Love it!!! Also loved what you said "Getting it DONE is better than making it PERFECT". Cheers
FINALLY - waited for this one for so long 😭😂
Hey Peter! Another great video! Keep'em coming! Thank you so much for all you've taught us so far!
I've been meaning to ask... Any tips on shooting video inside a moving car, like you did before, while you were driving?
Thanks!
you really produce awesome content in a way extremely enjoyable!!! now I have to decide which cam I should choose. thanks for your effort!!!
Awesome video, just added the Mavic and Ronin to my Gear bag, cool to see this type of review! 👌🏻
You really know how to keep the videos interesting. I check my feed for your new videos everyday, multiple times a day!
The and...and part was my favorite
Can't wait to see MORE !
Inspiring brotha ✋🏼
Loved this as much as your most recent one!! Addictive!
Your videos are all super useful. You teach a lot of stuff man. Thank you. You're Awesome.
I love ur work peter, keep posting such great videos.
once again...awesome vid. learn so much from this guy.
That flying drone inside your office? "NEVER AGAIN!" - that made my day :D
This is so well lit! Facing away from a window and so even...
Good video! I am currently building up my bag slowly and it's nice to get some good advice.
Love your videos Peter, sooo much good content, many thanks.
I am a new subscriber, and I've been watching your videos. I would like to say congratulations on your RUclips channel success, and I never leave comments. That being said, I had to leave a comment to let you know that the drone scene was freaken funny. You have a great sense of humor and great material.
Amazing, thanks for the useful tips!
One of the most valuable videos I have seen so far. I've seen a lot. A mere "Thank you!" might not be enough to cover my gratefulness. Seriously. Perfect information : fun : explaination ratio. I COULD have used a 10 second-video seeing you using that Ronin, but that critic on a very high level. You can read a lot as a beginner and you still cannot grasp the essential grip on a topic, because you have to just get out and experience stuff. That's exactly what this video does. Sharing your experience with us. so we can go out there and start at better point. Keep up the good work!
Totally agree with you on the Mavic Pro! So much more useful and easy to carry along than the DJI Phantom
Love ur work Peter, all the best from Serbia, keep it up!
Dang Peter!! Every video is just one notch above the last. Love it
dang it! I was expecting for you to take out a drone or something in your opening; instead, you took out a coffee jar! So awesome🌄
love the vids I've been working on my photography skills to make my channel better. just bought my first lav mic and some lighting gear for reviews and am looking at DSLRs your channel has been inspiring in getting my stuff together to make my channel not suck.
Where have you been my whole life ! Love your vids Peter, keep it up !
Loving the consistent uploads! Keep up the awesome vids !
Your content is amazing man, millions of subscribers are on their way fo shooooo!
"NEVER AGAIN" ..... Hilarious on flying Mavic Pro indoors. I played it back again to have tears in my eyes with laughter because I can literally relate. Did the same thing in a hotel room and what a mistake. Love your videos and appreciate the work you put in them confirming that I'm not crazy when it comes to production. Thank you.
Love the videos, Keep up the great work. Just got my first DSLR, a Nikon D3300. So far love taking pictures with it. (i know you love your canons, but the feature set in the Entry level models seemed a bit better on the Nikon.) Keep up the great work, your videos are visually stunning.
Great video Peter! Thanks for sharing. The 70-200 whether it'd be Nikon or Canon are absolutely amazing! Images are sick. Just wayyyy tooo heavy :)
I'm actually kindda struggling on deciding what gear to take for a 10+ days trips... To take the big guns or not... haha.
Keep it up!
Someday I'll have those gear! You're such an inspiration to me. Please Keep doing what you're doing! :)
My new favorite RUclips creator. Thanks for the videos. You're awesome.
Really cool equipment. Might get myself a couple of those gear bags
1:40 Matti Haapoja!!!!! Loving both your channels guys ❤️
Peter, get the Filmic Pro app for the iPhone 7. It is optimized for the phone and for the OSMO. With it you can turn of the phone's stabilization and enjoy steady footage.
Great video! I love your videos, they really inspire me to make more content of my own!
I have watched soooopo many of your videos that I have now perfected the “pfffwhats up everybody!!!” Lmaooo I think I can imitate it to perfection, maybe. I might do it on one of my live streams and see if I pull it off lol
Love the content, definitely keeps me inspired
Casually takes out a coffee jug without a lid, what a legend
Hi, I'm from Brazil. I'm a huge fan of your job, you're amazing. Keep doing your job and teaching us. Thank you!
Sick video dude.
Always fun to see other peoples gear.
I just love your videos man. Great work! Inspiring as well:] Keep it up!
Dude your camera bag is goals man. All I have is the 35mm 2.0 lens, 18-55mm kit lens and the Canon 70D. But I guess we all start from somewhere.
Love your work.
Love your videos! I look up to you as a amateur photographer just starting out.
Awesome tools! Love your videos!
Lol love that you took the time to fly the drone in your office
Love your videos and work!!!!!
Never had I have a real camera. Never was I interested in photography or cinematography. Yet this guy makes me watch his every video 🤷🏻♂️
bro love your work keep it up killing it
Yo, this is awesome bud! Thanks for making this!
Awesome video as always. I used your tips from a previous video in my most recent post and dumbed in some water fall noises as I flew over this one cliff. As simple as that seemed, just added that much more volume to my video. Thank you for all the great tips and posts. Wish my gear setup was as nice as yours! Maybe someday,
That intro though!!! Great video, Peter!
Awesome gears! thanks for sharing :D
*Notifications pops up*
Drops everything to watch it as soon as humanly possible, because that's how awesome these videos are.
Great videos! Looking forward to the next one!
laughed my ass off at "Never again!" - look of pure fear! Amazing.
