I doubt anyone else is this dumb, but it took me a while to release you could rotate the metal tensioner on the wand before fitting it which makes getting the chain on the cog much easier! Not seen that mentioned anywhere, so probably just me being thick!

What kind of oil does it need
I've got one, I just use a general chainsaw oil. Never had a problem
Einhell also has theire own brand oil
