I jumped in with the 3/325 PIR from Vicenza in 1988 on the 44th anniversary. Meet a lot of veterans at the time that were a lot younger at the time. Loveed your videos on that trip. Keep it up love your channel.
since MOTA came out I've watched it twice back to back. I then re-read the book followed by "A wing And A Prayer". I'm disappointed by how little they actually put into the series from the books while feeling the need to add things in (Tuskegee airmen) The books could be a TV series by itself but I guess that what we have "12 O'clock High" for. I did enjoy the series very much. I would strongly suggest reading both books to get the rest of the story.
During this live stream something called "Warfest" was mentioned? I can't find what was being referred to, someone asked if JD was going to speak there. I am trying to find some history conferences/events to attend this year. Thanks!
New Orleans is the most unique city in the US. The mix of influences French, Spanish, English, African, Acadian creates such interesting culinary, cultural and especially musical experiences. The birthplace of the Blues, Jazz just an amazing history. Unfortunately the city has some serious problems at present but I hope things get better.
