NGL when I saw that was actually Your native gameplay I got super excited because usually these “” impressions videos it’s just them talking over looping trailer😂
So it seems like your main complaints are just that it's like Batman Arkham Asylum. Which I mean is good since the devs made it similar to that linear and dungeon type game
Yeah I mean it's kind of just stating the obvious and it's not really a problem for most of us who really enjoyed playing Arkham asylum but also I don't think people understand that we're not there yet this was a test we can't just do a open world Batman game we don't know how it's going to work now with this though they can definitely if it sells well release a sequel that's more on the scale of Arkham City and then they can try for something like Arkham Knight but again even Rocksteady had to take their first baby steps 🤷♂️ but if this game does really well which I'm pretty sure it will then I think it's time to start talking about DLCs and sequels now yeah we haven't actually gotten the game yet but based on what we can see right now I don't think this is gonna be their only game in the franchise
About the lack of grittiness, others who have been flown out to play the game have stated that in combat they sometimes get prompted to punch into an enemy's kick that breaks their leg
7:00 - Seems more like they kept that funny but immersion breaking part of Arkham combat, the whooshing into the next enemies like Batman is one with the Homing Attack of Sonic the Hedgehog.
not immersion breaking. Full immersion into the shoes of a far more athletic and fast moving human than me. Exactly as it should instead of 1:1 fitness nutjob BS. This is not a fitness routine minigame, it's about empowering the player
It's not let it go they've already said 100% without a doubt it will never be on any other platforms we might be able to get a PC VR port but that's as close as we're going to get just accept the fact that it'll never be on console besides consoles are nothing more than expensive gimmicks now anyways tell us why they cost so much and so did the games and yet we're lucky if they give us 60 frames per second and then b*tch when we want more than 30 but they want $100 for them just accept it bro VR is in its Xbox 360 era now is the best time to jump in but you're not getting these games on the console 🤷♂️
The Quest 3 is worth it. You not only play games, the movie and RUclips experience is pretty dope and it’s great for traveling. Especially for a long travel
@nathie Did they explain whether it has the ability to use our PCs for enhanced graphical rendering functuonality or 'just' Quest 3... and no 'higher' level. Too bad they couldn't add that NVIDIA AI NPC thing, apparently they finally have a 'real' game that uses it now... a multiple game... but still... Hmmm... that linearity near the beginning seems bad, and no the deep VR games are possible, thia game or rather Batman never comes off as a 'casual' game it just feels like people would assume it takes more than 'just' basic skills to enjoy it. Maybe...?
Could you say how this looks graphically versus following games: Assassins Creed Nexus VR, Red Matter 2 VR, Asgards Wrath 2 VR, could you put them in order graphically ?
2:30 - Seems dumb, I don't care about pacing, I care about BEING THE BATMAN!!!! ...so anyways... 😅 I like'd the need to understand how to use each gadget but, hated how the Arkham series only really added 2 use types for most gadgets, Exploration and Combat, not really even mutliple ways to use gadgets like throw a Batarang that has Explosive Gel on it to knock crowded enemies away from the denotation spot (technically the explosive Batarang does this but it just IS an explosive rang). Just think more like combos of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom or Dead Rising (Frank West) weapon building.
All the Arkham games have a simple arcade feel at first take, but as the difficultly is raised or you progress in the game is it becomes more complex and skill based.
I recon this game, gameplay would have been better if they did not try and combine arcade combat with dark themes, for a vr game, it should focus more on imersive vr mechanics instead of a classic beat em up style, it is dissapointing how the stealth has more freedom than the combat. If there was more variety to the combat, like accessing the utility belt and all the neat gadets during combat, instead of just punching. It would be so much better. I understand its just a demo and will reveal more as it releases in October so I should not be so strict on it, but if this is to make Batman game Fans play it they, are going to need to pack it with a lot more.
2 things that I think is so stupid in vr games 2024. First, the tutorials, 'how to move, jump, and so son'. Second, option to 'snap or smooth loco'. Its is ridiculous. No tutorials and snap rotate! Lets evolve Vr games.
Here are my spicy first impressions of Batman: Arkham Shadow on Quest 3. Let me know what you think!
This looks great, Batman Arkham Shadow, Metro Awakening, Alien Rogue Incursion, and Assassin’s Creed Nexus are what sold me on the Meta Quest 3.

Most of it is b-roll footage of the demo we got to play.
@@nathie cmon Mayan lemme live my truth 😂

A complaint for those who see it as a complaint. I personally had a blast playing Asylum.

@jytggbt Yeah they said if it does well they hope WB will let them do more cause they have plans and story's they wanna tell
I can't wait to try this

Most of your 'disappointments' were positives but ok.
exclusives should always be limited for a year or so. hope this is coming to other platforms, pc and ps5 sometime.
Meta is funding it so you know what means

Honestly, no
It’s never coming to consoles they explained on a q and a but I have vr so I don’t care. Vr is better.
Sounds great, but hopefully, you can take off the icons that yell you what do do when in combat or grabbing something
I want another Iron Man vr game
He’s dead
Nathie you sure play with full game when it comes out
Totally! You?
It reminds me of an early Splinter Cell game.
I noticed you didn’t mention anything about how it looks on quest 3 versus the footage we have been seeing. How does it look?
Looks fine for a Quest 3 game

I’m gonna need a super easy mode 😅
By now, everyone has played this but us😂

It does fall in that category yes
Cette vidéo est tellement drôle que j'ai failli me mouiller. Je crois que j'ai besoin d'une nouvelle chaise maintenant😘

Batman from Glasgow?

this gameplay looks pretty cool. Shame this was exclusive to quest 3 you can tell it was limited visually by the hardware
I feel you bro. This game would have looked pretty sick on PC
Bro fell off with one view in 1 second😢

You can use gadgets in combat! And being a super Arkham fan… this is exactly how the flatscreen Arkham games are. They have that arcade combat feel

I just use full immersion "turn on your own to turn". Works like a charm without stupid cable...
Arkham shadow is intended to alot of people's first VR game since most arkham fans don't own a vr set
