- We met another RUclipsr today. The lovely Trist..link further down so give them a sub. The next morning we woke up to more ridiculously good and hot weather and went around Threave Gardens in search for bats but ended up coming out with turnips and apples to feed some goats.

Hi Both. Great visit around the garden especially the veg garden. Just replanted more spinach and carrots in a raised bed. Only 2 veg that have grown well this year. They’ve done better in Scotland 😮🏴 That huge plant you stood next to is Gunnera..think it’s a member of rhubarb family. Continue having a lovely time! Take care.🚐🏴😻xx

Mazzy and Dan the fairy pools on Skye are stunning and most definitely worth a visit. However have a google before you go as this year more campers and motorhomes (and cars) have descended on Skye than ever before and people have been stuck for 8 or 9 hours on the road to the pools. Early morning out of season is the best time (take your wellies). It is stunning! We were lucky enough to see it a few years ago when it was almost empty on a beautiful crisp morning. Bliss like this. Hell if busy. ❤

Omg!! we did this day out too. How gorgeous is it!! We could not do the house because we had the dog with us and it was not dog friendly. But the Gardens were beautiful and we finished it with lunch at the cafe. A great day out.

You mentioned sherbet balls Mazzy. They were called sherbet pips they are pink and white plus you can still get them in the old fashioned sweet shops. Keep having a great time in Scotland 🏴 ❤

There were parts in this where it really did feel like you were walking around some massive private garden, very impressive. Reminds me a little bit of a place I once visited but this is more better tended.
Absolutely loved the veg and plant honesty shop. I always love things like that, seems to be seen far more in certain areas than others. Really traditional stuff, bet it's great quality too. I do enjoy a bit of coriander, not familiar with Tansy either though...

Mazzy should be careful putting a seat belt on when she's wearing a waxed jacket - wax will rub off onto the seat belt, then transfer back to other clothes she wears in the future - an expensive mistake I've made before!

Dumbs I thoughts my vision was going there for. Mo hehe. Seems ok again. Think all the walking you have been doing tired you out,hehe. Crumbs that time has flown by 5days. I haven’t had corn beef for ages. I guess it’s out of season , so they can get around these places easier without visitors. Bless you mazzy you really get so excited. Think the pond was maybe a bit to polluted for fish. The place you visited todsy was very well kept, a real credit. Are you asthmatic mazzy ?. Maybe you need a few extra puffs going uphills if you are. Maybe worth being checked if your not ,
