How typical for Russians, the song that praises the killing and war.
Like their proverb "Не мы такие, жизнь такая!" that disregards personal choice.
As the example, they invade neighbor counties and they say "That's their fault!".
So music is great and lyrics is a horrible.
See the movie in the background, in the live show. It is about a old/roman/medieval war, but of course is a reference for every war: Мне не надо знать о добре и зле ( I do not need to know about good and evil ). I would like to understand the motivation, the context for this strong lyrics: pro war, cons war, ??
This song doesn't praise war, it tells you about horrors of war. Also it's a horrifying reflection about a militarist doctrine our government have chosen in the past years. We have "patriotic" sections that teach young kids how to fight and kill, this is the reality the song reflects upon, which is obviously done without any praise.
Heringer sorry, but it seems like u r not smart enough to notice the right opposite meaning of this song. Or perharps u hear just what u wanna hear. She is not praising War, she hates War. She hates the fact that mothers have to lose their children, the main character of the lyrics hates the fact that he has no choice "или я или он" (it's just me or him). This song even reminds me of 'Zombie' by Cranberries.

The Cranberries song definitely against the war of any kind. But if Russia and Russian culture praise expansionism and don`t feel sorry to invade a neighbor county, keep millions of people enslaved there in XXI century, and for most of the people it`s ok.
And such song said that war is ok
