It's already super gr8 with Barry's falsetto & Robin's vibrato... But add Mo's 2nd harmony (3rd voice) which is so darn difficult to do - it becomes purely magical! It's a combo of talent & inside their sibling DNAs.
I love this! All Barry, Robin and Maurice needed were their beautiful voices and a guitar...and there's the magic that's the Bee Gees! I have followed them since the late 60's. Fantastic! 🎶🎶🎶🎶

This is what makes their harmony singing so unique. All three brothers have different singing styles. Barry's falsetto singing has vibrato. But Robin's vibrato is faster than Barry's or Barry's is slower than Robin's. Maurice merges the two lead voices of Barry and Robin. In contrast to Barry and Robin, he has NO vibrato but is on a line. That's how this sound comes about. From the 0:45 minute, Robin's singing comes into play (Barry & Robin) From the 0:50 minute, Maurice's comes into play (Barry, Robin & Maurice)
@bgs3006 wow! I am very impressed!! You figured that out brilliantly. I was trying to figure out what I was hearing who and when. You explained it perfectly. I went back and listened and yes you really pegged it. I finally understand now too why Maurice's voice always sounds so smooth when he sings solo and why it fits so perfectly in with Barry and Robin to harmonize so well. It has a straight line that connects the 2 vibratos that are different speeds and that is why so many times you can't figure out who's voice you are hearing and why many times I can't seem to hear Mo's. His voice melds theirs together to make one rich gorgeous voice. Am I understanding that right?
@Top500songs Can you imagine what their record would be and how many top 100 and top 10 and #1s they may or even would have had if they had not been kept off of radio after SNF?!? Just imagine! They were still writing incredible songs that no one ever heard of.
@@kathleendewey5347 What made me disgusted with the Beatles is they used backmasking in their music, basically praising Satan & this is a fact. You CAN hear Robin's voice in the choruses, because his vibrato was way faster than Barry's. But indeed Barry's voice was layered tons of times more than the twins voices.
@@drubostic3854 I might change my mind immediately though, cause that Stayin Alive part has way too much vibrato to be Mo? Or am I wrong? I don’t have musical ears enough to hear that I guess 😂
You can tell that they had a very low budget, because the drums are quieter than my farts in the past month and for the guitar, they probably just put a microphone right in front of the amp lol.(sorry if this sounds like I'm sh!tting on them)
