I absolutely love the simplicity of the Crown, over the more complicated offerings from FX! The Crown has just the right amount of adjustability, without being over complicated. I really loved the original Crown (not MKII) with the telescoping shroud, and a little more power. As I recall the original Crown (not MKII) , shot the heavy 50 grain JSB pellets at about 890 FPS, and the lighter 44.75 grain JSB pellets at over 920 if I remember correctly. Id love to find a used original Crown (not the MKII) for sale, but finding an original Crown for sale, is like hens teeth! Nobody seems to want to let loose of them! Great video!
This gun is insane. The walnut stock, the trigger guard is the stock, the accuracy is unreal... Definitely stop and smell the roses. Take it all in. The tree stand is a great examples. Great review and great message!
You can't ever complain about that. A spread of max 9 ft per sec between high and low. Thats Awesome. My old Daystate Airwolf .22 which has a peculiar modification does 60 shots with a spread of 12 ft/sec from high to low, but its electronic. That's is good grouping at 100. Around 900 ft/sec seems the magic accurate speed for all pcp I have owned. Would be even better when calm. Great video, no BS just great review. Thanks
I’ve recently bought a crown mk2,synthetic,in .177,as I am in uk and no fac,so sub12 with pellets,laser accurate,atn x sight 4K pro scope mounted for night vision,best pcp I’ve owned to date
Beautiful gun and very sweet shooting. You, Keith, Norm, and even Steve are all really good shots. They give Steve a hard time sometimes, but it’s all in fun. Boys will by boys. I wish I shot half as good as any of you guys. I shoot all the time cause practice, practice, practice makes perfect right. I’m not there yet, but trying. Good days, and not so good days kinda thing. You all, for me, set the standard, keep it up. Thanks for the review, and a new challenge. God bless.
Awesome job as always. I’m ordering the Crown mark ll with the Saber chassis 25 cal. tomorrow. Because I seen your video shooting at 300 yard and the accuracy is unbelievable. Thanks from Florida
Lee Priest well the only thing I waste money on that you said is alcohol, but I don’t drink that much. I’m a simple man. I don’t need all the fancy high dollar stuff.
Great review Rick and awesome setup you and the rifle are one and the trick shot was spot on I placed my bet at 1shot and you never disappoint. Take care and be safe
HEY RICK , how are you ? loved this review of the new fx crown .. you gave some great info ... your shooting fantastic ... ive just bought an fx crown in yellow jacket . mark 1 . its the best rifle ive got ... Keep smileing and take care yourself . cheers SIMON FROM ENGLAND
now that was a dam good shot ...... why want the airgun industry come out with hunting versions of there guns, accurate and powerful....the daystate wolverine 30 is a 100 fpe , the atamam 30 is 96-100 fpe both guns are powerful and accurate..the mk11 30cal hunting versions should have been 100fpe shooting those 50g jsb or slugs, a hunting versions of the marauder, 25 cal 60-65 fpe, 22cal 40-45 fpe ... what numbers are you getting with everything max out ? is it accurate max out?
Rick can you tell the difference between MKI and MKII on the Crown by the serial numbers like on the dream tact CF/BV 600mm barrel .25cal if it is 119400 and below it is MKI anything above 194000 it is MKII. I have a Crown .30cal synthetic but not sure if it is MK I or MK II. Thanks for any help, and as always great video and damn good shooting
Haveing the the chronograph on the end of the barrel will change the harmonics of the gun , so don't sight your gun with this hanging on the the end your rifle when sighting your gun , that's what I've found , my experience.
owned a crown for a bit didnt like it the pellet probe alignment is always off going into barrel hole. sent it back 2x times and replaced it with fx impact. mine came with alot of barrel droop couldnt Zero at all without shimming rear scope mount
Rick I must say you make outstanding videos, and keep the interest of your audience. I am saving now to purchase the Crown Mk Ii and the same scope you wee using. Do you feel thst they will make the crown in .35 caliber?
Please tell the price of it all. If you could add a website for gun/cost. Scope/cost Upgrades / cost for each rifle. I live on disability income but look for a good gun. If Air guns can hold their own......, and cost “”EFFECTIVE”” / AFFORDABLE FOR PEOPLE LIKE ME I AM SURE SALES WILL INCREASE DRAMATICALLY.
22!!!! But the 30cal can fight wind better if you're shooting pass 75 yards. Still with the 700mm barrel with a good tune you can get over 150 shots per fill!!!
@@Letskeepthingsreal My Beeman Crow Magnum .25 cal with the African heydua stock has the best looking grain I've ever seen, but I'm probably biased... lol I'm also a sucker for laminate stocks with red as the dominate tone like the Daystate Airwolf can come in.

I don't comment much, but WOW!!! Set to watch later. I want to see it again. Still reeling my jaw from the floor. Thank you for sharing this video.👍✌
Thanks for the great video . Awesome shooting 👍.

perhaps the best trick shot I've ever seen
keep up the good work!

Lee Priest well I won’t argue on that point. Haha. But are the fx rifles worth it?

I am a little confused about the liner. Do you need to buy a separate liner to max out the accuracy when shooting hybrids?

Hi nice review how much power crown mk2 generates in 30cal
I have wild hogs and squirrels. What is best option in power/ bullet loading style/ scope?
FIRST TIME SEEING YOUR VIDEOS.....I AM EXCITED!
Enjoying your great FX videos Rick here in the west of Ireland. I'm ready to order my Crown but I'm not sure if to go 25 or 30 cal

Better than a m3 fx with out a dout
Which one will be best for hunting in dense forest and that too on top of tree, crown, impact, wildcat Or maverick
How rigid is that long, unsupported barrel? I think I'd be worried about knocking it out of zero.
600 mm ...very rigid .
owned a crown for a bit didnt like it the pellet probe alignment is always off going into barrel hole. sent it back 2x times and replaced it with fx impact. mine came with alot of barrel droop couldnt Zero at all without shimming rear scope mount
The barrels are as saggy as a penis in the middle of winter, you need to do mods, sigh
Hi very good video, is big difference between fx boss and fx crown ?
I'm from Indonesian 🇲🇨🇲🇨👍👍👆🔔🙏🙏
Thank you for watching
How many shots can we make from 250 bars to 150 bars when shooting with Fx crown? When the regulator is set to 150. Thanks.
Amazing
Beautiful gun.....
Fx crown is the best
Hi
What do you have your Reg Pressure set at to get it to run at 880 FPS ? as i would like to set my one the same 👍
So you really like this gun? Worth the price point?
Yes
Are you using the standard light barrel? Thanks
Superior heavy
Have you ever done a review of the Quest Nite Ops 22 caliber Air Rifle at 1100 FTPS from Crossman
I just bought a .25 mk2 crown could I use a .25 ronin on it or will it clip
Nice place to shoot. Is that your hunting woods?
I have it set up with a 3-9 Scope and Piney Lazar system
What game will that be effective with?
I'm torn between this rifle and the Daystate wolverine in 303.
Which one would you go with?
👍👍👍👍👍
Hi man.impact or crown? accuracy?
try NSA and H&N slugs Even my Flash pup likes NSA.
Rick I must say you make outstanding videos, and keep the interest of your audience. I am saving now to purchase the Crown Mk Ii and the same scope you wee using. Do you feel thst they will make the crown in .35 caliber?
Thank you . I don’t think so . 800 mm crown would be very long .
Another great video.... I was wondering.... Hey Rick, you and Iraqi veteran... What's your pin numbers..
Great video 👍🏻
Actually what is the plenum size for the crown just for curiosity they say its 28% more regarding to ?
To the first FX Crown from 4 years ago
fx should make a 35 cal crown, 144 fpe ...
Please tell the price of it all. If you could add a website for gun/cost. Scope/cost Upgrades / cost for each rifle.

I didn't see any wind 🤣🤣😅😂
Great Video as always...
I respect your input...
Which is the most accurate in your opinion? .22 cal .25 cal or the .30 cal?
22!!!! But the 30cal can fight wind better if you're shooting pass 75 yards. Still with the 700mm barrel with a good tune you can get over 150 shots per fill!!!
Do you think the .30 could be tuned to be a deer gun.
Thinking for culling does
My Boss will. It’ll bust a airgun golfball at 150 yds like nothing and go through 1/2 inch plywood too. Deer skull isn’t that hard!
In general a .357 is the minimum I would use on a deer. But .457 is even better.
for comparison a standard .25 airgun wont penetrate ribs xd if your going for double lungs, i rather use .35 like a benjamin bulldog
My walnut toilet seat has more grain and character than that stock. 😅😂🤣
Oh look... Someone talking shit.... lol
@@JaleelJohanson62 , it’s a well known fact that the FX walnut blanks are some of the blandest in the industry.
You should see my BSA R10 stocks.

FX guns has recently declined when it comes to quality. Too smooth barrels, terrbile orings.
I might be going to pick pne up in a couple weeks
