I think they're fantastic! Now the sound is very different from a normal gaming headset. Very neutral, like studio headphones would be. So if you really want big bass, these won't be it
just bought it a month ago, the only complain is just that sticky feeling when you get swaety. also the dongle can actually boost the volume pretty hard (without destroying the quality) i eventually had to use 50% volume on windows but the max volume using jack 3.5mm directly is pretty low
751 owner and the cable on mine is slowly going out. I slid the audio slider down and it fixed the problem but have been searching for a while now for a cheaper alternative.
@@yanuarm.s9550 the cord lasted a good while. It still works but if I have it set to full volume on the headset it only goes to 1 ear. Comfortability is there however better ear pads would be nice. These compared to other 70-80$ headsets might come out on top.
No issues with my copy! I did have crosstalk with the MH630's, but these have been solid. They're daily driver for gaming and video editing, so they've been put through the ringer
Hi! do i need to install the coolmaster software (masterplus+) in order to make 7.1 sound work? i'm assuming i don't, because you mentioned it doesn't need the software to make the whole sound card work, but i don't know if maybe you were referring mainly to the mute/volume buttons. i'm asking just to make sure.
Hmm never tried the alphas, but I love these way more than the cloud 2's! Both are fantastic, but these are very neutral and to me offer a better sound
Hmm if you're meaning earbuds, I found the JBL Quantum 50's to have the best mic. But I am working on a video for the SteelSeries Tusq which might have a very solid sounding mic!
These were honestly shelved for a bit once i got some ideal open backs for home use/gaming. BC of how lacking i found the sound signature as portables. Generally liking something more bassy that i can then resolve via EQ for my non bass-oriented genre when im on the go. Which these generally fail at even with G8X and Motorola phones dac/eq/dolby etc options compared to more ideal for my taste portables. I finally got my hands on a qudelix K5 and now i can EQ the MH752 to the sky with all the preset/headphone eqs swap to one of the HD25-I options for more present bass with a yet flat response and isolated imaging overall, or to my at home dailys the HD58X on the MH752 for some warm/clear sound and a boost to the low end. Then i can use my phone to enable Dolby/surround for content consumption or certain songs that i want to add a staging touch to just bc. Generally i used the dongle when using my laptop/on the go which was where i could ideally EQ the MH752 Then i would use the KPH30i at times bc i eventually got a Y splitter for the MH752 for at home use with an amp. Which eventually led to getting a dedicated mic and better headphones/open backs. The bluetooth dac/amp dongle is nice though bc it has its own mic for calls if needed when listening. I put stickers over the sides to give them a little more personal touch. But generally speaking I got the Mh752(cable length) bc of a bestbuy coverage return on my portables some BT NC bass sonys the smaller cable than most gaming headphones made them potentially usable on the go for some music. I just wanted something that would perform well in general not really seeking a 1:1 replacement. Theyre very comfortable and the EQ potential has them as a hidden value potential/option. I would definitely consider these as good value proposition if you can EQ them as portables, or use them as gaming headphones on a laptop/budget solution. They cover the entertainment and gaming aspect well for what they offer on top of the comfort/weight being a huge aspect. As far as build quality so far so good no scratches on the matte finish the swivel/brackets look solid compared to the headphones they replaced. Now i can bring the BT dongle as a type c pass through, which also can use the MH752 mic, when i game on the go with the laptop. And have these for gaming and the seal/comfort/sound isolation and imaging for ideal music/content consumption when traveling for the price and variation of use they offer. If you expect them to be Great out of the box they wont offer much when plugged into a phone or type c/thunderobolt adapter unless you eq them. Boost low and slight boost to mid bass and drop some treble/highs If its a 10 level eq. May even want to pull back some of the mids just bc of how present/clear they are on these depending on your taste/needs. Just to bring mid bass more forward to accommodate how you play the treble/highs. The dongle(type-c BT dac/amp, vs included one) raises the overall cost of these headphones if you generally lack a need for hifi/on the go etc. But if you already own IEMs, Koss portapros/ksc75/kph30i/40 and are looking at some 80-130$ range BT dac/amp options. You can also bring the MH752 on the go and its pretty amazing how well they respond to the various headphone eq/presets. Based on the stock signature the MH752 offers the staging/imaging/tuning. In that regard the comfort/fit and general performance/potential they offer is hard to compete with. Plenty of BT and Gaming headphones are decent "offerings" But generally wont scale the way the MH752 will from EQ. If you have a laptop with a pretty low quality onboard soundcard/dac or single 3.5mm jack out, this is a possible solution if you can spare the USB jack from your laptop/workspace/gaming system. Otherwise if you have an un-occupied type-c port you can get a BT dac/amp use it as a passthrough, as well as with your phone on the go with the MH752.
@@BaxTechYT good for editing/mixing out of the box which is nice to ppl on a budget that need a good baseline of operation for editing/mixing as well as consumption/gaming
how do you comprare them to the cloud 2 or the cloud alphas? soundwise of course i know mh752s build quality is trash, i really want to buy them but their build quality prevents me from it, if i dont buy these im between the hyperx cloud alphas, razer blackshark v2s and the logitech g pros. What should i get in an alternative of the mh752 between those 3?
Honestly I wouldn't say the build quality is trash. They're still solid, just have more plastic than other brands. But some solid alternatives would be the Blackshark V2's or the Hyper Cloud headsets!
@@BaxTechYT i finally bought the mh752 and i can say your review is honestly pretty accurate, as far as the mic goes to get improved sound off of your mic you sould use them without the soundcard given with the headphones, you can use them with a Y spliter and the mic sounds like a whole different mic really! The downgrade is that using a Y splliter as an audio source will reduce sound volume level (and maybe some quality) but not by much! I really liked your honest review, you have a sub from me.

I've been looking into checking out an Epos headset! Might snag a pair if they have a good black friday deal
What do you think about MH751 vs MH670 ? Which one is good for the sound and mic
