  • On this episode of vlogtober we reunite as a family! Daddy comes home to a wife that misses him dearly and a daughter who thinks he is a stranger mommy picked up off the street (even though she saw him everyday through video chat). For 7 months we have awaited his return, and it finally happened. We are whole again 💖

Things are more normal now. When he had to go back to work she woke up and was upset when she didn't find him :(

Our son was 9 months old when my husband left for a 6 month deployment. When his ship returned our son was 15 months old. Now I showed his picture every day, but he when our son saw him in person he acted like he was jack the ripper. It lasted 3 days until he went to him voluntarily and all was good. That's just part of being a military family.

:( it makes me so sad! I know it comes with the territory and we make the best of it but its still such an emotional period. Military babies are so strong and resilient❤wish you guys the best!

@@izzymarr Yes. It's part of the job. Your story is so familiar and never ending for us. My story happened in 1980 in San Diego. My husband retired in 1996 with 26 years. In fact that same little boy did 9 years in the Navy and our grandson is serving now. I, also, wish you the best.
