- On Jan 21st 2024, in Las Vegas Vegas Rocks Magazine hosted by Sally Steele, held a Music Award Show at Sam's Town Live. I received a "Guitar Legend" award, and my presenter was Phil Soussan (Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Idol, Vince Neil, Johnny Hallyday, John Waite, and Last in Line). Phil has been a friend for many years, and I created this video using some footage and photos from some talented photographers and video influencers. It was an honor to receive, and some great talent was in the room. Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick) Kip Winger, Orianthi, Eric Bloom and Buch Dharma of Blue Oyster Cult, Ricki Rockett (Poison) and many more!

KISS would not have survived the 80s without Bruce Kulick. He wasn't the most gifted KISS guitarist (that honor goes to Vinnie Vincent), but he was the most professional and stabile. That said, his work on Revenge was AMAZING and possibly the greatest guitar playing in KISS's history.

Everyone has their favourite line-up and their opinions are as valid as anyone else’s as long as they’re not being asinine about it.
KISS entered my consciousness around the release of “Unmasked” due to the striking cover art enthralling my 8 year old self (every weekend for months when my parents would head into a particular store I would run over to the Record Dept. and just pour over that album cover until they would literally have to come and pry me away from it!),
My actual entry point would be in my teens when “Crazy Nights” came out and it was that track and Whitesnake’s “Still of the Night” that got me into Rock. I bought both of those albums along with “Double Platinum”, and then started working my way thru the band’s catalog from the first album onwards with every weekly paycheck.
For me, as important as the original line-up were and always will be, KISS were never better than when they were firing on all cylinders with you and Eric Carr elevating everything to a different level, and I sincerely thank you for that and all the joy you (and everyone else involved in KISS over the years) have brought me. So it thrills me to see you be recognised like this. I appreciate all you have contributed both to the band and to my own life thru your talent. 🤟🏼
