This year I’m going to do a retro Christmas from the 60s and 70s. This time period was one of the happiest times I have in memory. So that’s why.
I’m making vintage Christmas assemblages for the craft sales and they are so wonderful! I wish I could show you a picture. I love the vintage stuff too!!! Happy holidays!!!

My man loves Ralph Lauren and I think that is the vibe I am going for this year! Last year I donated almost everything, knowing I wanted a change. So thank you for such wonderful ideas. Girl those mugs are everything. I would have picked them up too. I am going to add alot of deer this year. I would keep the tree even bare, would look gorgeous.

I’m doing traditional red and green. We bought a new tree from Walmart that has 1,200 white lights and paired it with a really nice wicker tree collar. Love vintage Christmas with gingerbread decor.
Real tree, very rustic wooden ornaments, red ribbons, multicolor lights that twinkle..angel tree topper with real feather wings that I had since my hubby and my 1st Christmas. 27 years..my aunt died before our wedding..I always think of my aunt is the angel on my tree.

Our Christmas theme is childhood memories. So anything that reminds me or my husband of Christmas as a kid is on our tree. Our kids love it too.

I started decorating with a gingerbread theme in my kitchen last year! I'm obsessed! I prefer traditional colors like red and green with a classic vintage look throughout the rest of the house. I also love decor that have snowflakes, sleigh, sleds, deer, candy canes, ice skates, outdoor christmas scenes, and Santa ofcourse! I also want to eventually do different movie themes each year in the future! I would love to do an entire theme from "A Chrisrmas Story", then "Home Alone", and definitely "Christmas Vacation"! One day I will! For now I do not have the storage space to do this! 😅
Victorian Christmas is my style. I also collect Nutcrackers so they are in all of my rooms.
This year my daughter (26 yrs. old) has already started decorating. She bought Spy-X Family mystery figures at 5 Below and hung them as ornaments on our mini livingroom tree. She plans to decorate with a "spy' theme.! She also plans to serve peanut themed snacks, like brittle and trail mix for the party. I can't wait to see what she comes up with.
The kitchen is a subtle gingerbread theme, the guest bathroom is snowmen, and usually, except for this year, the rest of the house is decorated with snow, assorted trees, and winterland scenes.

I am so glad you are back in Texas. You just seem back to normal now and I love it. I am vintage Christmas in my living room, gingerbread in kitchen, reindeer in my craftroom, angels in one bedroom and music and instruments in my bedroom. My bathroom has a small beaded Christmas tree and nativity scene.
Plaid makes me glad!!! Any and all plaid I just love it!! My fav if I have to choose one would be the red and green with white background. I found plaid chargers to go with my Christmas decor!

I am into Gingerbread for my kitchen for sure. Don't apologize for the mugs, heck I would have grabbed them too. I love that Christmas tree, looks like Alpine ( I am going for the minimal not alot of decor on tree in our room. But plaid and lots of picks and bows on living room tree. Amazing haul. I change often. My living room has been white and silver with a bit of red for the last 2 years. This year, I’m losing the red and adding in blue. My kitchen theme/tree is black and White Buffalo plaid. My bedroom theme/tree is red and black Buffalo plaid which will carry over into my guest bathroom. This is the first year I’ve decorated a bathroom. So excited!
My Christmas is snow globes, woodland creatures, traditional plaid and burgundy velvet. I can’t wait for plaid week❤❤❤❤

I love to do a nature style Christmas with a lot of snow, trees and deer. I love this style because I can take down the couple of in your face Christmas items such as Santa’s and keep the decorations up through the end of January. Once you take the Santa’s away it looks like snowy winter decorations and not Christmas decorations. Also I loved your book! I was not expecting to cry but you got me. Can’t wait to see all your future adventures with Loki and Mikah 🫶🏼

I've got my mom and dad's red Christmas ornaments. My dad gave them to me after my mom passed away 4 years ago. They are all real glass ornaments. I've got plaid pillows that are green and red. The outside of my house the wreaths are all red poinsettia.
My tree is covered with red birds, pine cones and plaid ribbon ornaments. It's a small tree now that I am alone....but it is so cute...love it!

This year I am using gingerbread throughout the kitchen and living room. My bedroom will be very simple. Just a nod to Christmas but with more of the glam pink look.

My kitchen is Gingerbread theme. The rest of my house is decorated with the white tartan plaid, and I add touches of 40s and 50s vintage style decor. My teen son's bedroom tree is topped with the star from Mario, and is decked out with Mario and Star Wars ornaments... my younger son's bedroom tree is decorated to match his nautical decor.
I’m loving the green plaid so very much,and I’m totally Ralph Lauren, but for my living room, I am doing a lot of beautiful reindeer. Kind of like oh world with a lot of plaid but this year I am doing more of the green plaid. Also, you inspired me. Thank you.

My kitchen is ALWAYS gingerbread and I keep adding to the collection every year! 🤦♀️. The main living spaces will be a winter wonderland theme with white velvet tree skirt, table runners, stockings and snowball ornaments. I’m tying simple white satin bows to the garlands on the stairway, doorway and mantel. I bought a mini white village set for the mantle as well this year. Also incorporating silver and glass in the decor. I can’t wait to see all of your new decor!! ❤
My husband collects Hallmark ‘s animated snowmen.. So I have lots of snowmen around my house!!!

I like to do red for christmas because I have green in my house all year around. I fell in love with the white plaid you use in your living room and I have been working it in more every year.
I like only red, vintage ornaments on my tree which is green with white lights. 1950s ShineBright, simple, red, shiny. Whenever I find a box I buy it.
I also have a thing for jingle bells. My husband always jokes that my Christmas totes all jingle.
Living room is vintage/Santa themed. Kitchen is gingerbread theme. Bedroom is Christmas tree themed.
Snowmen are my thing but not overdone. I guess it’s because I live in the south and rarely see snow. They are just so cute and jolly. Colors are red, lime green, gold, and some black and white. It’s my best work as far as decorating goes ☺️

I'm here for everything Christmas! This year I'm in the mood to skip Halloween and jump right into Christmas season. I even put up some fall decor and then put most of it away quickly because I wasn't feeling it and took out a tub of Christmas and decorated above my cabinets 🥰🎄

We love plaid here at "quirky cabin". Our log cabin in the woods is the perfect setting. My husband inherited a gigantic ru😂g with red being the main color. On top of that I have red furniture covered with white matlasse coverings. The loft and bedroom have red and white buffalo plaid duvets. The walls are dark coffee color with cream curtains. For Christmas I use bunches of dried hydrangeas, burlap wired ribbon, and dried cinnamon sticks tied in bundles . Because my home is open plan the kitchen living areas are one. I have open shelving in kitchen with antique blue canning jars holding all of my homegrown herbs. These shelves are perfect for added Christmas goodies. I love our home with all of its possibilities ❤❤ Marie, you are an inspiration, thank you so very much for all your hard work, from the upper peninsula of MI.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know you will feel your dad's love all around you at Christmas, because I feel my daddy's love all around me at Christmas since he passed.
