A simple setting of several scriptural passages about love. Written for the wedding of Brian and Allison Murray, two Texas-based choir directors, the work is highly melodic and simple in its construction.

This song is from the Song of Songs in scripture. And to think this is the depth and passion of love Jesus has for me, for us as individuals? How beautiful, it makes my heart ache.

This is my favorite song in choir but I'm the only actual bass so I'm very much struggling compared to everyone else and it really sucks everyone sounds so good compared to me and I just want to cry I feel like it sucks

Gaack! It's in our spring repertoire and makes me feel ill when I read the lyrics.
And 12/8? Please, make it stop.
Apologies to folks who enjoy the insipid piece of music. To each BB their own, I guess.
