If anyone’s wondering why it probably doesn’t work for you it’s because even if you have 2 5 star commons you will only reach the first empowered dragons you need to put 2 breeding perks on each common to unlock the second dragon also a better legendary dragon is cosmic detonation dragon you can use 2 empower 5 flame dragons with 2 breeding perks on both dragons you also receive around 6 breeding perks when you start if I’m correct
And breeding perks haven't appeared in the game like forever ever since I discovered these tricks. I am stuck with 2 max empowered flame dragons but can't get cosmic detonation yet because of those damn perks.
-Empower your dragons To empower them very fast, you need a lot of food, time and gold. Around 20k for each. Level up your dragon to lvl 20+ and then recall it. You're gonna get lots of points

I know its late but, you can breed both max empowered flame dragon to get the legendary dragon with a skill, its much better though it takes more time, but its worth it
Expensive?well then just try breeding for cosmic detonation dragon just empower two flame dragons to 5 star and hatching and recalling those flame dragons will only take 30 seconds and each flame dragon only cost 100 gold which is not expensive and after empowering your flame dragons to 5 star go get a breeding perks which can obtainable for F2P players if you have a breeding perks you need 6-12 of them put 3-6 breeding perks for each flame dragon and after doing that go breed those two 5 star flame dragons with breeding perks and then boom you just got yourself a cosmic detonation dragon which one of my strongest not just mine but also a top tier dragon because it's not only breedable but also has a passive skill which he can hit enemies 3-5 times do those steps i gave to you and you'll thank me later.
