- We are already well aware of what is going to be trend in 2022, but we wanted to check on the TikTok Community to get a little glance of what me maybe might have missed.
Spoiler alert: not much i guess?
This is a fun series Eliza and I liked a lot, so we will probably continue with these kind of videos also, while doing our own lame stuff as usual haha.
+special thanks to the magnolia in the background stealing the cameras focus from us. we got you, you the pretty one here.
Did you like it? Is it unnecessary? Please tell me something, anything(!!) down below.
Also the legwarmers thing is killing me, just fyi.

Thank you for including me on your huge channel - dreams come true. 🤤 next episode will be live on Wednesday & let’s just say - it’ll include a certain Emily.
See you then! ❤️
Generally tick tock fashion is just thrifting neon colours and denim mini skirts, not much value in terms of high fashion predictions
haha but sometimes I ask myself, if I just don’t get it. They have different priorities on TikTok, it’s not the quality and longelivity, but the trend, the idea, the costume. Also cool though
I’m finding it interesting that several of these ideas that I never noticed on runways either have already been showing up in K-pop throughout 2021… Like leg warmers lol
I googled them and the first pics i saw were K-Pop ones! I guess it’s the schoolgirl inspiration they are driven by?
@@tubaavalon even billie eillish wore those :)
Oooh leg warmers! We wore chunky boots or skater shoes, lev warmers pulled over the shoes and then boot cut jeans with an ripped open inseam at the leg bottom… mmmm the gorgeous style of 1997!
haha it was the beautiful times..
as someone who loves your videos some trends are for younger people or streetwear and maybe you just don’t get it? i don’t think they have to appear on the runway to be a trend.
love how you touched on how all the pics are of skinny people though.
i don’t take it personal and also believe I might not just don’t get it, but also don’t like it and therefore kinda question it? But then again, that doesn’t matter. Or maybe I am just old and start not liking younger kids, jk!
@@tubaavalon idk i just disagree with the idea that a high fashion designer must come out with something for it to be a trend. like leg warmers are all over my social media, i think they’re definitely a legitimate trend
@@sherrysicle I think Tuba has a more “traditional” fashion vision. Her style is very European and classic, not very juvenile nor expressive (I'm not saying her style is boring or bad, just different from the gen z and some millennials expression). Fashion trends are also influenced from movies, musicians and so on, I agree those not only come from fashion designers anymore. Social media has made images and fashion more accessible to people, what’s in style for you and me could seem like it’s not for people like Tuba who maybe only consumes fashion in the traditional sense. Just my two cents.
Wait so what’s ur opinion on the margiela ballerina pumps/sling backs? Also speaking as an Californian some of these are literally existing trends in the average/lower income US gurls (ie shein bodysuit, streetwear cargos, 200s alt) love the channel btw 💙
Different Topic - I like it!
loved this video! also your earrings are sooo gorgeous!
Thank youu 💕🥲
Loved your and Eliza's dynamic!!
Im from sf and everyone be wearin leg warmers in high school
Living for Tuba's side eye!!!
haha!
The awkwardness at the beginning tho.
Super interesting! What's fascinating is that a lot of these are actually in trend now!
gen z has superpowers!
Bandanas I keep seeing as a trend
True, also seen on the runway!
I swear people just making stuffs up with all those trend predictions😂😂
Hahahha, i swear I thought the same!!
Great vid.
Thank youu Pineapple 💚
One is "beautiful": took off her hat and checks for several minutes by all means - camera, phone - whether she looks good. The other is "smart" - interrupts her friend and talks only herself, being at that pretty repetitive. This is a short description of the video. I managed to watch it only for a few seconds :)
So you did watch more than a few seconds 😚
Hello. Chef John here and welcome to Food Whishes!
birkenstock did a furry collab with rick owens...i'm sure you know . a year later birkenstock did their own furry design...cheaper and in business terms cannibalizing the rick version.. it seems the expensive collab primes the pump and the cheaper noncollab gets snapped up making a trend
It’s always like this, but isn’t this also the case without collabs? I remember J.W.‘s collab with converse, who right afterwards continued using his design without his permission. But the moment you collaborate with a mass market brand, I guess there is nothing one can do against it. Ofcourse not cool!
I like this format, but I'd appreciate if both of you didn't interrupt one another so often.
you look like sisters !!!
wooow, first time ever I hear that!
Background music is too loud this time :((
tho shes boring as hell she has a lot to teach, i love it
hahahaha thank you!
I hate hate hate hate hate zippers and buckles hell no
you can’t hide from the 00‘s!
Also I see a lot of unnecessary writing on everything and I am smart enough to avoid it. Plain with good or intentionally over-exaggerated proportions are the only way to go. I was just so done with buying my whole wardrobe over and over again as I followed the stupidity. Well not anymore.
