Sixers fans love saying things like this without offering actual solutions. Have you looked at the actual free agent class this summer? There are no “young stars” to sign and any that might become available via trade aren’t obtainable by Philly. They’ll be outbid by Brooklyn, OKC, etc. The sixers only have this summer to use the max cap space. That’s it. You cannot roll it over to next year because you have to max out Maxey this summer. They have to make the best of their situation. George is the easy best option both fit wise and because you don’t have to give up any assets to obtain him. The age issue is what it is.
@@sirfish9824 he just played 72 games this past season. He’s a near perfect fit next to Maxey and Embiid and you’re not finding a better available option to acquire this summer. It’s very simple. He’s obtainable with no picks needing to be given up, and he’ll at worst be a large salary to attach to said picks in a trade after the next two seasons. Everyone has a complaint about him yet no better solution… because there isn’t one for Morey to pursue. The max cap space has to be spent this summer. You can’t “roll it over”. If he actually is willing to leaving LAC, he’s Philly’s #1 choice. No other option is close.
if they were smart they would build the team around maxey, paul george is 35. jimmy butler is 34, so they should pass on them. The most important thing is getting rid of embiid
PG is another AGING star past his prime. He'll be 35 we need young stars.

Not getting Paul George and extending Kawhi Leonard more money to coming back for the Clippers
Finally people who see that getting Paul George would be another James harden situation. He’s old and will end up being worse than his contract.
Ridiculous take.
@@GabeCerebrohe’s 35. Hes injured all the time. Paying him a lot of money would be a huge mistake.

WHAT Paul is nearly 40 and ALWAYS HURT to even have this thought process is STUPID !
Mot anymore. He's still NICEEEEEE, however iTHINK it would be A mistake @this point of his career
No - go young
We don't need another Harris contract i would pass
tobias harris and Paul George doesn’t even belong in the same sentence, unless you’re comparing how trash Tobias is compared to pg13.
Forget Paul George. We'll be getting Pascal Siakim. Act like you know
Pascal Siakam or Ingram and Solid back up for Embid
