@@JustinK0 it's not really she grew up in Korea until around 6-7 I'm not entirely sure then she moved to Canada and then America and then back to Korea after school ended in America
So she learned Korean before anything
@Justin Caleb She was actually born and raised in Korea until she was like 10 or 11 so English is technically her second language while Korean is her native tongue but it does sound like English is her native tongue just by listening to it.

Language affects how we think, so I guess that could also show in mannerisms, when communicating in different languages. English, especially North American English, is pretty laid back, while Korean uses honorifics and will have one focus more on the status (age, position at work etc.), so I guess that would also show in body language. I never really noticed it before, but now I can't unsee it! =P
@@benkalem All research shows youthful peer groups shape language (kids of parents with accents don't have accents). She had youthful peer groups in Canada and Korea, so she can pass for native in both cultures.

In both Korean and English, I find her speaking voice so soothing. I already knew her singing voice was fantastic, but after watching several interviews and now this, I have come to realise that her speaking voice is very soothing. She could do like, a guided meditation thing or something and be very good at it if she wanted to.

I always love her English and btw, Wendy has very good Thai pronunciation, clear and correct, even Chinese as well. I think she's good in learning language cuz she had learnt 4 languages before, so she knows the point. (I'm not sure with her Japanese lol, she said once she's weak at it while she's interested in Chinese language, so that might be the reason her basic Chinese pronunciation is quite good)
