All Draconian laws in existence(PMLA UAPA are but two examples) deny bail to detenue.
The judiciary refuses to see that such laws are unconstitutional. A Mass movement is needed to throw these laws out of the statute book.
Agree with you completely. Congress has never spoken loudly against such draconian laws like UAPA because it is Congress which brought this law onto the statute book! So only a strong people's movement can bring the needed pressure to repeal such laws.

Sir, what BJP is doing to JMM leaders is similar to what Congress party is doing to JDS party leaders in Karnataka state. Instead of smearing Mr H D Deve Gowda's extended family based on fabricated and doctored sex videos the Congress party could have allied with JDS party and could have won at least seven more seats at the expense of BJP. Both national parties it seems are going out of their way to decimate regional parties. Elections using ballot paper will go a long way in saving secular values and democracy.
