I almsot fell asleep watching the fountains and cakes, I would have been pissed off if i would have bought this assortment......but the shells redeemed the whole kit. Thank You for spending your money and taking the risk for our enjoyment. I enjoyed all the shells and a couple of the cakes.

I think assortments are more for families and the cake cakes are more for backyard shows and people who want bigger stuff! This assortment was not that bad especially for phantom! Those canisters were massive for there size!

Phantom puts out perfectly serviceable fireworks, but their prices just kill me.
Absolutely I stopped at a phantom store in Wyoming the prices were literally double compared to another fireworks store 40 miles away.

@@zuzu4130 let me just give you an example from last week. Phantom fireworks in Seabrook NH wants 170$ for two Wind Up's by brothers fireworks. Atomic fireworks in Seabrook NH right down the road is selling them individually for 55$. So 110$ for two. You are losing 60$ per two cakes (35%). You will run out of money very fast and have a small show shopping at phantom

Phantom is never a good buy in Arkansas....they pimp out mom and pop folks to push product for weak margins...and the quality is hit and miss.

Man I really enjoy your videos. I live in Taylor Arkansas and In 2016 I was working in Watford City North Dakota. 4th of July that year was one I never will forget. I’ve never seen like the amount of fireworks these people set off. Lots of people working there had plenty of money and they had some great fireworks. Back when I grew up in the 60’s we could buy the original m- 80’s . These things would blow a hand completely off. They cost 75 cents a piece, which was a lot of money back then. We’d tie a spark plug to them so u could throw them further. Luckily none of us got hurt. I also worked in Rawlings Wyoming for awhile. Great fireworks. Keep up the good work Cody
In the North East, we mostly have Phantom and TNT. We have stricter laws so we have less companies to choose from. Id love to see you do a budget video at Phantom or TNT buying individual items and making a better assortment for less. Appreciate all your videos.
Everything was fairly underwhelming except the shells but I feel like for almost 400 dollars even if it was buy 1 get 2 free that still seems steep. Assortments are cool and all but I feel like they are best for people that don't want to shop for an hour at the firework shop and I definitely don't fall into that category so 🤷

I gotta give it to em. For $160, not the worst. That felt like a $100 pack of canister shells alone. The only question is if the rest of it was worth the other $60, and I would say maybe. I would probably pay $120 for that assortment. That sounds fair.
Love this assortment. For me the fountains are the only thing that brings this assortment down.
I mean its overpriced but phantom has been hit hardest by the firework shortage because they have the most stores so I'll cut them some slack

cody you should do a video on improper shell loading, something like putting a smaller shells in a bigger tube or getting the shell stuck in a fiber glass tube.
Yeah that would be cool make sure u have long fuse or a firing system tho.
This assortment is good from the cakes and the shells. I'd buy if I got 2 of these for the 300. Then you can shoot 2. Cakes together and make a nice show. The shells are great. 💥💥💥💥🇺🇸

I love fireworks and glad to have you put videos out for me to watch. In the assortment pack... the cakes were ok, but the shells were fantastic... the colors on some were really clear and bright. But probably wouldn’t spend $300 on that pack.

There is a finally piece at phantom that’s around $200-$250. Think it’s 200 shots and it’s well well worth it. And the pyrotechnics motherload is one of my favourite there

Those 200 g cakes are sold separately and aren't just 'assortment' cakes. Those shells were pretty good. People disparage Phantom (yeah they're expensive) but they do make some pretty good stuff

That Halley’s Comet cake is not the original Halley’s Comet was a very nice comet with very bright white comets very similar to the Brushy comet cakes that spirit of 76 sells. I remember shooting them in the early 80s maybe late 70s
