Back in like 2011 the Walloping Warheads cake had long silver titanium tails with crackle, and more of a howling sound then a whistle sound. It went so high and was really intense. Fused two of them up with quick fuse to fire all of there shots at once. It was so awesome, literally a wall of silver howling comets!
That one was very cool. The rest were 🗑️ imo
I remember those, we had neighbors that shot a bunch of those off every fourth
Phantom sent out an email with a coupon for 60% off everything including assortments(up to $800). The assortment would be worth buying with the coupon.
The key to shopping at Phantom (at least in OH), is judicious and targeted use of their coupon sales. Best I have seen (and used) is 70% off one item up to $400. Buy 1 get 2 free can also be used to do some damage as well with careful selection of the items that you are buying.

I got a few coupons in the mail, nothing crazy, and went to one of their tents. That would be the ONLY way I would never shop there. They told me they only honor those coupons in their actual store. Which is 2 hours away from me. Screw this brand, I legit hate them now. Waaaay better stuff out there for at least half the price.
The one near me is basically always half off everything because they have 4 adjacent stores, so they are usually decent

I have both phantom and a couple wholesale outlets, so I did some pricing... if I did every single coupon at phantom I'd pay around 600 for 7 or 8 items
At wholesale, bu the case, I could spend the same and get 28 items (canister shells/ cakes) without any coupons. Phantom has some really nice stuff but buy smart and increase your purchasing power by 4x!!!
The Wicked Pissah is probably one of Phantom's better 200g cake!

Cody... I absolutely love your comment about Phantom. Honestly they are indeed way, way over priced for what you get. I live in California. Phantom is literally all we can get here in this state. The ones I will bring in from Nevada and Washington made by the other manufacturers that you have premiered here are far better for much less out of pocket. I'm am so happy you pointed that out. @Phantom... listen to this information. Cheating your customers is not cool. We are paying good money for your products. The least you can do is give us some bang for the buck. Cody... keep it up. I love your channel. I get to see things that are simply not available us here in California. Love it, keep it up!

FINALLY! you finally said it right about the price - as much of a rip off Phantom is, it is where I used to go about 10 years ago for the longest before I smartened up.
I only have a phantom near me, and after finding this channel after i had already bought from phantom i’ll be ordering next year, i got this assortment and wasn’t impressed.
Phantom Fireworks is about 5 miles from my house and I buy fireworks from them throughout the year. That being said, I never buy any fireworks from them that are not on sale or without a coupon. I do Not go for the BOGO sale. It’s not worth it. I look for the BOG2 or 65% off sale/coupon. Sometimes I use the 60% off coupons. As I post this they have this assortment available for about $97. That’s a lot more reasonable than the $299.99 price. There are also two other fireworks chains within a half mile of them (Sky King and TNT). Sky King waits for Phantom’s specials and then responds with a special to beat them. TNT is not really that competitive. Independent dealers are about 45 minutes away. They offer the best pricing on individual items. But, the cost of gas and time offsets that. It’s only worth it if I’m in the area anyway.

Yea I have a phantom fireworks near me, I stopped doing business with them just because their way to over priced, the only thing I will buy from them, if they have it is the 200 gram cake called powercell , other than that I go to Area 51 fireworks or Jakes fireworks or Red Apple fireworks in GA
Truly what Phantom is for.....the guys who want to make some money on the side. You go around to all your friends and people you work with. Take an order...grab the money up front. When you get back you sell the stuff that was free to you. In other words you keep the match to yourself. It's bad.....but it works.
Phantom Fireworks are so pricey I wouldn't purchase fireworks from them with someone else's money😆😆💯🙏🏾

Heck ya I had the Uncle Abes as part of my show this year in the back yard ! The Boyz To Men as my Grand Finale.. Uncle Abes was on Mgr Special for 89.99 this year. Phantom is the only firework store closest the the South Miami Dade area. What we do is get a few neighbors and friends all pitch in and then we get a bunch of stuff.....we spent about 400.00 and had about a hours worth of show. It was great !

You're pretty much right about Phantom Fireworks I live in northern Jersey and pretty much as the only place where you can get fireworks they cost a lot to your right and thanks for putting them on blast cuz they give you a little bit of fireworks for those shitload of money by watching your videos for a certain amount of time I'm looking to other firework companies and see what's up with that like you said you get more bang for your buck in the mother companies and I like that and I love your videos
I do live in North Jersey and if you don’t mind where do you get your fireworks. I looked at intergalactic and sky king fireworks as well but for me they are all looking same price wise where as phantom quality is better. So really looking for a good place to purchase
Interesting. Iseem to recall, Rain of Fire used to have red dahlia type breaks with crackle, now it has chrysanthemum style breaks. I've never shot one myself, just going by videos and memory so take that with a grain of salt. (I've seen way too many color and crackle cakes, so it never appealed to me.)
I wonder if the upgrade to larger breaks from the usual bouquets has anything to do with Garden in Spring reappearing in the Phantom catalog as a single item, after many year's absence? Either way, it's cool to see someone putting effort into making it a better show!
The 96 shot color has always been a favorite of mine. Both for fun shooting, and for a low cost, high intensity effect. Try making a fan out of 3 rows of 3-4 cakes each fast fused, and light them all at once. For a bigger effect, add 1 or 2 small 16 shot cakes, like Super Stallion to the end of each row. You can build from there, too with artillery shells, premium shells and 500g cakes for a multi-level finale. The ones I used to get were Glorious brand, and included nice, snappy firecrackers. The finale was a small red/green burst. 12 of them going at once made for a huge cloud of red, green and reports- and was surprisingly intense. You get a bunch of them in a case, so it was a cheap, but impressive effect.
Spinner cakes, like Arctic Blast are also favorites. They make for a nice change of pace, and it's an interesting effect. A couple of old favorites were Whistling colourful Wirldwind (sic) from Link Triad/Squirrel- which had all three effects in every shot; and an old Kellner's exclusive (which I forget the name of grrr!) that shot up blue pearls that opened up into gorgeous gold spinners and blue stars.
The Phantom stores are a hike for me, too- so I don't go there often. Whomever picks out the items they sell has similar taste to mine, and they do seem to pay for the GOOD versions, so the prices don't bother me THAT much. The tents ARE near me, and their top shelf fountains are outstanding. Many of which are ONLY sold in the S&S tents...

Cody you need to come to Texas or go to New Hampshire and try elite fireworks. The one in New Hampshire is year around.
I've used this assortmant many times and it is expensive but for being close thats one of their cheaper options. It probably is cheaper to travel to shelton in Indiana and then drive back. Two years ago, the rain of fire misfired and shot out the side at me! LOL it was nuts. I think this assortment is good when you fusing them all together and lay it out on a board
Their prices would be more reasonable at buy one get 2 free.

You got some really great assortments of fireworks over there mate. I particularly like the tungsten - like green colour that a lot of the bursts give off. That exact colour hardly seems to appear in any firework, set or display I've ever seen here in the UK.

I use to get all my stuff from them but since Covid and year or two before they got very expensive and quality of fireworks went down. But there 200 gram cakes are really good. I switched to SKY KING

Back in the 90's it seemed like fireworks were more densely packed. None of this filler, extra tubes and clay junk... IIRC this change was for safety reasons and was some requirement put into place by CPSC or some governing body. Is this true? Or are we just getting ripped off?

Phantom actually switched up how they made the defcon alert and reign of fire or whatever it was called. They switched them up and made them wider for better stability. Back in the day when they were almost squares they tipped a lot so they added the foam which will be very light on the added cost of production, while simultaneously making it a safer product.
Also, I knew that the phantom garden in spring had actual breaks so I was looking forward to you figuring that out also cuz I know you hate that firework

Along with Raging Rottweilers, Emerald City is one of my favorite "budget" (as in Phantom pricing) cakes from Phantom. Both are 16 shot with a retail price (in OH) of $24.99. But careful use of Phantom buy 1 get 2 free sales (which are fairly common here), means the effective price is $8.33 each (before tax). And that I think is reasonable. Pairing 2 Emerald City and 1 Raging Rottweilers together can create a really nice opening in a show for under $25.
I agree, the Buy 1 Get 2 Free deals make it pretty decently priced compared to most all the other fireworks stores in Ohio.
Reach out to these company's and work with them to develop next year's kits. 🎉

CODY watch out when you break that paper on the top ..I broke the papper on a 500 gram cake and a huge rainbow spider came out and bit my arm and i had major pain from the bite .........The spider was shipped from China in the 3 inch tube covered in red paper

You don’t need to remove the wrap from the top I always light then with wrap on not unless it’s plastic never had a problem.

Honest question here. Recently I bought phantoms promotional deal, buy 1 get 2 free. Spent some coin and thought I walked off with 4k worth of free fireworks. But there's no way a company would make any money if they're just giving away free fireworks right? My question is, did I just break even or did I get a good deal? I would like to know because I'm planning on visiting other stores but I'm afraid I will not get as many fireworks.
