I have visited Whitney's gravesite twice. Its in NJ. She is buried next to her daughter and father. She was such a great talent and the use of drugs took that beautiful voice a\way from this world and I believe it contributed to why her daughter also died...coincidentally in a similar way.

by the police. We've always suspected something, concerning Clive Davis and his plans for her replac-

didn't want to deal with Clive. There were bruises on her body, which appeared as if there was a struggle. The police report said, the 'Water'...in the tub...was extremely HOT and she was face down~

Didn't know it was George Benson's song when I first heard it. Benson's version is better in my opinion but Whitney's is surely the close second.

After reading her mom's book about her I was sad to hear many of her own race looked at her as "not black enough in her singing". She was actually booed by some at two early Soul Train music awards shows. She had plenty of soul. But she was called too white. Bullshyt…I was a young man doing those times and Black people are the first to proclaim her one of the greatest in her early days. Now, when she tried to crossover with that pop album “How would I know”…..yeah I can see her being booed. But she quickly returned to her “ROOTS” and made history among some of the greatest females black singers.
