@@Canipeks this tool is a rotary tool used for cutting out drywall. A multi tool is an oscillating tool that is typically used for cutting wood, nails etc. it is for those hard to reach areas . it also can sand and do a lot more. i use them once and a while to cut drywall if i'm renovating but mostly I use it to cut wood and sand wood.

@@hammerandhome thanks for the tip, however I'm planning to purchase one of these but as I already have a multi tool, didn't know whether this drywall tool would be something extra as I wouldn't need it because I'm using the multitool that does the same job.
P.S I guess it really depends on personal choice too at the end of the day what you do and so on forth.

Nice review. I think to help beginners you should stress the use of the depth guide bracket that you kept on the other tool. It keeps the beginner from going too deep into the box (away from the wires) as well as it will keep you from getting hung up on the other edges around the electrical box. You just adjust the guide to just a little wider than the thickness of the drywall. Thanks for helping out dude.

no prob, the clamp is to simulate the drywall being screwed down to close to a cutout, this will put pressure on the drywall and when you do a cut, the closer you get to the end of your cut the drywall will give and potentially break, like it did in the vid. hope that helped
