probably used up all my luck for the year in my clue edition getting a lonis and lavinia for my clue deck lol. it's one thing to have unique cards in the clue edition to entice people to buy it, but having the packs themselves be randomized is an extra kick in the nuts
Portal Manipulator is the coolest card from this set imo. I also grabbed a Commander Mustard for my soldier kindred deck which is soon-to-be led by Caesar, Legion’s Emperor
At least the pringles will help you recoup your money, those particular shocks are selling well due to people not wanting to buy the product, that being said: the Clue game itself actually isn’t half bad, and we already made a variant called Clue-mander
Watching this again and for some reason when you pulled the first copy of Rakdos I immediately imagined him saying "Hey it's me, Rakdos!" in a bad NY accent like some of the goblins from WoW lol.
I actually think this could have been a cool product for a one-off evening with 3 friends. Crack some packs, play Clue-Magic and keep some kinda fun cards and a shock land. For like 40€ it would be..
My personal spec from this release is Carnage Interpreter. So it's a 3 mana 5/5 Menace with "put 4 artifacts into play?" Seems like it's one or two cards or a meta shift away from insane.
Mmm yes premium pringled shocks... At least the shocks have new art. Some singles interest me, like Herald of Ilharg, Sludge titan and Vernal Sovereign. hopefully I can buy them through my lgs before jumping to tcgplayer lol
Interesting that you took the dive into the great abyss of the crossover clue game with Murders at K Manner. I will say that as silly as i think it is, I also have bought several variations of Monolopy that are Star Wars and other themes
It feels a bit short sighted to say you’ll never play it without even trying it once. I got it mainly for some of the new cards but actually had a fun time playing it as a game. It adds a fun little complexity to multiplayer magic.
assuming they have all the guilds (refuse to look up anything else on this product) the fact that they're playing distribution games with the general public and allowing duplicate packs is duuuuuuuuuuumb. I think as mtg players we've gotten used to it, but if I were joe shmo I'd think it was defective, and I'd just love to see the response from customer service that 'packs are random'. (that still burns me sent a feedback email with numbers of collector boxes I'd purchased since they became available and how I had no intention of buying more than 1 from whatever set put commander mythics in multiple slots for the first time, and all the person said was its random.. I put my Karen hat on after that one hehe.
I bought one at under $50. I was content at exactly 1 box. That $70+ pricetag that retail wants? ... no way. At least those Skyguards and Amzus will soften the blow on getting a Lonis
Anyone notice how random normal humans are now 3/4s? How are they bigger than bears? Power creep off the charts
They've been hittin the gym ig

@@devashannaidoo6877 aww is someone triggered? how ironic.
i just opened 2... got 3 izzet, x2 selesnya, x2 simic, x1 boros and 2nd one was: 1 Orshov, 3 izzet, 1 selesnya, 2 simic, and 1 house dimir :(
Me opening 3 golgari and 2 rakdos 👁👄 👁
Dude! Really appreciate this opening. Sorry for the misses, but it's great to see you give us an idea of pulls. Hope your next rips are better!

What a strange product lol glad you opened them I was curious about them but not enough to buy
Kinda wild that you only had 1 simic pack out of 3 boxes. I would have thought the guilds would be evenly distributed.

LOL! Thatll be stuck in my head next time
Very disappointed with the curl on those shocklands. You sounded a lot calmer at the end of the video than the title suggested. 😂
I was disappointed, not angry

I also own star wars monopoly
I can’t man! I just can’t waste my money! 😂

It's not short sighted. I don't know anyone that would.
Just waiting for the day when a card curves enough to make it a circle or cylinder shape

I know who killed that Godless Shrine. It was WotC, in North America, with the Humidity.
To costly for jumpstart with shocks lol
As a game its fun. But for the price its at its downright robbery
Kinda sad because a product like this would have been cool/held value if it was made just a few years ago
I agree with your title
❤❤❤

I immediately bought a lonis after when it was 8 bucks
Man what a painful product
Im actually feel stupid for buying it what a ripoff
