The way he’s actually not Sirius Black and Timothee Chalamet isn’t actually Regulus but as a fandom we’ve collectively just decided that’s who they are
Reminded me to one of Timothee's interview alongside Zendaya. He was wearing a Slytherin sweter. I think he knew that we sees him as Regulus Black, because of Timothee's actual Hogwarts House is Hufflepuff

This novel is just as perfect as oneself would think of himself. It's like as Oscar Wilde Said, the three men that reflects me "Basil is what you think of yourself as an artist, Henry is what the world sees you, & Dorian is what you want to be young youthful sexy and handsome". You know Dorian Gray wishing himself to be forever young because of his jealousy of his portrait is like conjuring up an evil spell by supernatural means without even realizing it.
Blonde hair, rosy cheeks and blue eyes was the beauty standard for men in the 1890s. nowadays its dark hair, dark eyes and an enigmatic persona that's what girls fall for now
I came here after watching the movie to know other people's opinion on it and all i see is Sirius Black stuff. Guys I love Ben Barnes is fancasted as Sirius Black but can y'all stop mentioning it EVERY TIME and appreciate him as Dorian Gray (the role he actually played)

Madkatz Productionz i have to disagree about the hair thing! dorian is supposed to seem pure and innocent and youthful even though on the inside hes becoming corrupted and golden blonde hair is associated with those traits so i believe its important. also i just believe wilde is the type of writer that describes things as a certain way for a good reason
even if he did see his real self in the mirror for a second, I feel like that's a brilliant movie adaptation. it could show how dorian's knowledge of the painting altering, affects the things he does in his life. knowing that his soul is deteriorating so much on the inside, is affecting the way he looks at himself despite him still being young and beautiful to everyone else.

two of my exes have that same complexion, it's the contrast between the dark hair & the pale skin that makes it striking. you can get the same effect with dark blonde hair only if the skin is extremely light. that's why saturation matters so much, but who has time to explain this. if i say it once, that should be enough.
