Oh man do I love stuff like this! Looking forward to seeing it on water.
Awesome! If enough people are digging this I will continue posting these kinds of projects as I do them
Loving the experimental content lately!! Thanks for taking us along! 😎🤙
Thanks! Its has been fun. Hopefully I'll have some more projects
looking forward to the first test drive
I think I might chop some stern off the end after a first try
I love how you put this out there about 1.5 weeks before Zet first posted about the Ninja 2 😆. I get that there are differences (unchanged bow volume and more stern rocker on the Ninja 2 I believe?) but the timing was gold.
It was actually even better than that. I wrapped up with this boat in the garage and by the time I walked to the kitchen I had a photo of the Ninja 2
I would love to look into how stuff like this changes the physical properties, need to find a not too uv stressed broken boat to take samples from
I've only ever done it to boats which had issues elsewhere which ultimately meant they failed for other reasons.
Really though this area should always outlast the area of the hull under the seat so it shouldn't matter
You paddle it yet? Brings back many memories man. In the mid-90s barely any boat was safe. I had a Kendo with a back deck like a squirt boat
We have been iced over. Looks like I will get to try it this weekend though!
@@AlexBarham ah of course. Hope she's fun when you get her out!
@DrRepper thanks! You guys in the comments have convinced me to keep you all posted
Have you ever tried or thought of adding rocker or bringing the nose up on an older boat?
Great question. I am messing with adding tail rocker. Bow rocker is going to be more difficult. I'll probably try on a dead hull first
