I thought it was because Del was never part of the band and he isn't always with them. Therefore when he can't be there, they need someone else to fill in and they couldn't use the same lyrics as that would just make them look poor so they do their own bit.
DayZ Smith There is only one bass.. at the right....the others are one fender jazz master electric guitar and one fender telecaster electric guitar. You are probably confused by the fact that the bass and the jazz master have the same body ( a little bigger for the bass ) and the same color.
