    I can’t wait to see your review of an all star resort! So many youtube channels want to preach about renting DVC points and it’s just not realistic for most families even with savings and especially if you know you’re planning for a trip after prices are likely to rise in late 2023 or early 2024. Thanks so much for remembering us OG Disney folks and I can’t wait to see your perspective on the transportation from an All Star Resort❤

    Oh I remember how nice it was when I only had to pay for one child! When she turned 3 and we had to start paying for those park tickets we felt it! 😂 and now it’s even more bc they’re 8 and 10 and they eat! A lot! I always hated packing food to the park but now I have to bc it’s too much to eat lunch and dinner for our family of 4. We usually do breakfast at the resort.

      I can only imagine! It hurt so bad when my oldest turned three. I'm sure they are so fun at those ages but definitely eat and cost more.

    We stayed at All Star Movies in December 2022 the week after Christmas and it was perfect! My kids were obsessed with the Toy Story section and it was so magical.

    Thanks for breaking this down, love a good spreadsheet! I’m really looking forward to your review of the All Star Movies resort :) we were at Disney for our littles first trip last week and that genie plus got us in budget too!

    This was helpful I’m going to just go to Walmart and get snacks to save money on that and just do pizzas/qs for lunch so the only splurge will be dinner.

    Those darn genie+ fees can really sneak up you! Did the spreadsheet include your grocery order or airport parking? I didn't notice them but may have missed it! Great video, Ashley!

      They really can! I completely forgot to include the groceries. We had family drop us off so no parking fees at the airport. 👌🏼

    This is an awesome way to track everything, thank you! As a family of 5 going on our first big family vacay to WDW and Universal, this is really handy LOL.

    This recap is great. It is important to be realistic to yourself when you get back from a trip (and when you plan it) This past trip we changed our plans to eat more in the Villa and less in service/sitdown restaurants. we saved hundreds and were not feeling deprived. it was great to not be tied down to reservations, too.

      That can save so much money and especially when you have access to a kitchen.

    Always nice coming under budget 😅
    I should really start packing Ellie lunches to bring with us. We wasted SO much money on her food last trip because she is PICKY. 🤦🏻‍♀️

    • @thepixiedustedmom
      @thepixiedustedmom  Год назад

      Definitely!! Doesn't always happen lol but it's nice when it does. Eating with kids in general is freaking hard but especially when they are in those picky phases.
